actor Chadwick Boseman rushed to emergency room...Chadwick Boseman Dies at 43 After 4-Year Cance

https://www.newsbreak.com...wheelchair

Actor Chadwick Boseman Rushed to Emergency Room last weekend in a Wheelchair With Noticeable Weight Loss

Chadwick Boseman the 42-year old actor was taken to the Santa Monica Medical Center by his fiancée, Taylor Simone. Chadwick was wearing a black face mask and hoodie covered in a white blanket as he was in a wheelchair pushed inside the hospital by a nurse.
Prior to that, he was last seen in pu...blic on April 30. Since then, rumors about his health problems have been spreading as he has reportedly lost nearly 50 pounds.

Chadwick became popular for his portrayal of the superhero Black Panther in several Marvel films including the hit movie Black Panther itself. He also played the role of a number of real-life historical figures such as Jackie Robinson in the movies 42, James Brown in Get on Up, and Thurgood Marshall in Marshall.
*No word yet on his condition.

Fans are concerned after learning that actor Chadwick Boseman was rushed to the ER over the weekend. Chadwick Boseman, 42, was rushed to the emergency room at the Santa Monica Medical Center by his fiancée. As a nurse pushed him into the hospital in a wheelchair, he was wearing a black face mask and hoodie, covered in a white blanket. No word yet on his condition. The Black Panther star has been photographed looking extremely thin. He reportedly is preparing for an acting role but the weekend visit to the ER has me really worried.

Although Boseman hasn't made any public comments on his appearcane, he's preparing for roles in multiple films, including Yasuke, in which he'll play an African Samurai, as well as the sci-fi series The Black Child, and Black Panther II.

Wasn't this like 2 months ago? He had been losing weight for a movie role. I don't think there's anything wrong. Just tabloid bollocks blowing things out of proportion. I'm sure he'll be ok. He's just signed on to appear in Yasuke, a movie about an African samurai and he'll be shooting Black Panther 2 soon as well. I suspect he'll be putting the weight back on for those movies.

Concern is one thing, alarm is another. Maybe an updated thread title is in order? wink

Who said anything about being alarmed. There is no reason for any of this. It is what it is.

I think the point here is not alarm but the fact that you can't be "rushed to the emergency room" when it happened in June.

With it being the end of July your title should be he "was rushed" as this is not a current event as the title suggests.

Everything is what it is... I've never understood that expression...

It seems you guys are a bit bored.

It is what it is 'as in' why change the title. if this isn't going any further as far as we know

it is what it is. This is really being bloated into trolling

Chadwick Boseman has died, a rep for Boseman confirms to PEOPLE. He was 43.

The Black Panther star died at his home surrounded by family after a years-long battle with colon cancer, his team wrote on the star's Instagram page.

"It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman," the Instagram post said. "⁣Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV."

"A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy."

Boseman's team wrote that his role has King T'Challa in Black Panther was "the honor of his career."

"He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side," the post concluded. "The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time."

The Associated Press reported that Boseman died on Friday.

A rep for Disney did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

In addition to his starring role in the blockbuster Marvel movies, Boseman is also known for portraying several historical figures, including Jackie Robinson in 42, Thurgood Marshall in Marshall and James Brown in Get On Up.

In 2018, Boseman spoke about the impact of Black Panther, and became emotional when discussing his relationship with two young fans who died of cancer before the movie was released.

“Throughout our filming, I was communicating with them, knowing they were both terminal. What they and their parents said to me was, they were trying to hold on 'til this movie comes,” he said during an EW SiriusXM Town Hall.

“To a certain degree it’s a humbling experience because you’re like, this can’t mean that much to them,” he said. “But seeing how the world has taken this on, I realize they anticipated something great. Thinking back now to when I was a kid, waiting for Christmas to come, waiting for my birthday to come, waiting for a toy I was gonna get a chance to experience, or a video game, I did live life waiting for those moments. It put me back in the mind of being a kid and feeling those two boys’ anticipation of this movie.”

“When I found out that they ...” the actor continued, before stopping to collect himself. Eventually, he concluded, “Yeah. it means a lot.”

Marvel Studios issued a statement on Twitter Friday night, saying that the actor's "legacy will live on forever."

"Our hearts are broken and our thoughts are with Chadwick Boseman’s family. Your legacy will live on forever. Rest In Peace."

It was a pleasure to meet Chadwick @ the NAACP Awards last year he so humble. I really refused to believe he was ill. Instead that he was preparing for a role. He was such a brilliant character actor. But when the pics showed him being wheeled in a wheelchair to the emergency room in July my heart sunk in sorrow, He was so passionate about his roles watching him at SAG screenings discussing them. We need to appreciate and honor are entertainers while their still here. To know he fought this ilness while still filming his movies & doing press with a smile shows how strong and dedicated he was.

Just when you thought 2020 couldn't get any worse.

This is a wake-up call to me to finally get a colonoscopy done. I'm 59 and never had one.

Whoopi Goldberg wants Disney to build a Wakanda theme park
By Toyin Owoseje, CNN 2 hrs ago

Whoopi Goldberg wants Disney to build a Wakanda theme park

"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg is calling on Disney to build a Wakanda theme park in honor of the late actor Chadwick Boseman.

Boseman -- who played T'Challa/Black Panther, the king of the fictitious African kingdom of Wakanda in the blockbuster "Black Panther" -- died of colon cancer, it was announced on Friday, after battling the disease privately for four years.

In the wake of his death, Goldberg, 64, urged Disney to make some changes to its popular attractions, insisting "we don't really need another Frozen land."

There are several "Frozen" attractions at Walt Disney World in Orlando, including "Frozen Ever After" and a chance to meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Summerhaus at Epcot, plus "A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration" at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Some events are listed as temporarily unavailable because of the pandemic.

"Dear People in charge of building NEW experiences Disney Land and World we don't really need another Frozen land BUT what we could use is Wakonda," she tweeted. "Please Disneyworld Disneyland PLEASE build in Chadwick Boseman's name WAKONDA (Sic)."

CNN has reached out to Disney for comment.

Last year, Disney announced a Marvel expansion at Disney California Adventure park.

While there was no talk of a dedicated Wakanda theme park, the company said in a statement on Twitter that visitors will "find heroic encounters throughout the Avengers campus, including Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Super Heroes from Wakanda and Asgard, and Iron Man."

Goldberg was among a long list of celebrities to pay tribute to Boseman after his death was announced at the age of 43.

Describing him as one of her "all time favorite people on the planet," Goldberg told her 1.5 million followers that Boseman was a "wonderful actor" and a "truly nice man."

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios and chief creative officer at Marvel, said Boseman's passing was "absolutely devastating."

"He was our T'Challa, our Black Panther, and our dear friend. Each time he stepped on set, he radiated charisma and joy, and each time he appeared on screen, he created something truly indelible," Feige said in a statement to CNN. "The Marvel Studios family deeply mourns his loss, and we are grieving tonight with his family."

On Sunday night, ABC aired the special "Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute For A King" following a commercial-free airing of "Black Panther."

"How do you honor a king? Reeling from the loss of my colleague, my friend, my brother. Struggling for words. Nothing feels adequate. I always marveled at how special Chadwick was. Such a pure hearted, profoundly generous, regal, fun guy. My entire job as Okoye was to respect and protect a king. Honor his leadership. Chadwick made that job profoundly easy. He was the epitome of kindness, elegance, diligence and grace. On many an occasion I would think how thankful I was that he was the leading man I was working closely with. A true class act. And so perfectly equipped to take on the responsibility of leading the franchise that changed everything for Black representation. He made everyone feel loved, heard and seen. He played great, iconic roles because he possessed inside of himself that connection to greatness to be able to so richly bring them to life. He had a heroic spirit, and marched to the beat of his own drum; hence his excellence as an artist and the incredible courage and determination as he faced life's challenges; while still guiding us all. He was zen and sweet and funny (with the very best laugh), attentive, and truly, truly, good. I can't even wrap my mind around this loss. A loss resonating in my own heart as well as around the globe. The children he inspired, my heart aches for them, to lose their hero just as they finally found him. I am so thankful to have taken the Black Panther journey with him. To have known him, spent time in his light and leadership and to call him forever a friend. Lala Ngoxolo Kumkani." --Danai Gurira

It's VERY important for men to get a colonoscopy. I know most don't like to go to the doctor. But better safe than sorry. The sooner U know the better. These pics I pulled from my private stash @ the ULTRA private SAG screening of "Marshall" on October 9th, 2017 @ 9:36PM. It's where Chadwick so eloquently spoke to a small group of us in "the Industry".

Don't be. And when you find out everything is good and you will. then study up on proper diets and foods (and vitamins) and get your regular as you see fit. You'll be good.
