He deserves to be the highest paid qb but this shit here is ridiculous. Damn Chiefs you didn't have to bank him like that. I understand Kelce is in the last year of his deal. Is any gonna be left for his teammates and any to improve the defense? This contract also gonna fuck it up for future hot shot qb deals. I know the RB's are looking with envy. Don't laugh at my funk

I know the RB's are looking with envy. the fact that they gave him 10 years makes it more team friendly...over the course of those 10 years the salary cap will increase...besides only 63 million is fully guaranteed with a 140 mill injury guarantee...Kirk Cousins 84 (mill) had more fully guaranteed money...Mahomes has to play all 10 years to get that loot | |

This article goes into more detail about the contract. Actually, it would have made more sense to take a shorter deal with more guarenteed up-front money.
