Wrong forum? Either I just had a moment or this was moved... but it is a good season to use the insta pot and Air Fryer (oh I used them outside too! keep that heat out)

I am more of an air fryer but sometimes I use the instapot to cook and the fryer to crisp!

Wings soak in water with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and hot pepper powder... for at least an hour... drain and pat dry sprinkle with the seasoning (except the salt) but add sugar... into the insta pot for 10 mins... then into the fryer at 400 for 7 to 10 mins to crisp.. (i put frozen frys in the fryer for 5 mins before I add the wings --i just put them on top)

and the reverse for short ribs...cook at 400 for like 5 mins each side (just shake) and then put in the instapot for about 10mins... dry season first...then fry then wet season in the instapot

Cubed steak and gravy.

I just make up stuff. Great for cooking up a grip of veggies that way there's no excuses. Soda works well cooking meat. Dr.Pepper and pork with some seasonings, comes out pretty good. Have done salmon, sans soda, of course. Pretty good but you gotta be careful with fish, it is a bit unnecessary using a crockpot. Even did 20 garlic chicken once, my across the street neighbor wanted to know who was cooking garlic that early in the morning boxed
Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Pressure cookers are good for cooking certain foods quick. Chef Wolfgang Puck sells his line of pressure cookers on HSN and QVC. Convection ovens are good for cooking quick meals too. 🍜 πŸ” 🍟 🍻 🍰

No room on my counter for a convection oven, but my pressure cook can be tucked away in a cupboard wink

Ditto. I had to buy an extra table for more counter space.

My wife has a couple of recipes for the instapot and my favorite is her spaghetti.

It's crazy when a spaghetti dinner takes 10 minutes in the thing. It's like magic or something. It's also hotter than the sun and stays that way for a while.

If you're interested in this I'll ask her for the recipe for you...

I want to know what works for people and if the dishes they make come out as expected or just so-so.

Wife said the spaghetti is the one to start with and then move on from there (maybe it’s easier?)

We’ve tried this chicken and it was amazing:

Then the beef stroganoff was also a hit:

Her favorite thing about the Instant is that there’s little clean-up and the food has been good. She also said this guy is a good resource:
