Post lockdown world

Tomorrow in England the non essential shops are opening (not restaurants/hairdressers/beauty though so we shall stay ugly and hungry a while longer)

Anyone here who is in a country that already opened up again, did you find people's behaviour to be cautious and scared, overly happy, angry and rude or as normal?

We of course bring British are going to be queuing - our national sport. I see a lot of other countries don't do this as well as us. So I imagine we may be grumpier.

I doubt people are going to form an orderly queue when Primark opens...

EDIT; I guess outside they're orderly, even if I do think they're mad. Let's see if they remain orderly when they get in there...

Well, several states are open or in the process of reopening and the numbers are spiking again - they look like March numbers except there is no lockdown so the flood gates are open.
All eyes on NYC for its denisty of peeps.

Adding to this, of course, are the BLM protest marches and events - largely younger people. If protesting the advice is to isloate for 7 days after and then get tested.

What a time we live in. hrmph

We've reopened in Germany. Restaurants have taken care to lace the tables properly for social distancing. Masks are required in enclosed spaces and on public transport as contact us longer lermitted with drivers. A big pain in the butt is that for buses and trains you have to purchase your tickets beforehand via cel phone/debit if you're not near a station that dispenses tickets...and that annoys me because it's yet one more institution you have to give up your bank account info to. Also, for seniors who aren't using smart phones, it's a major inconvenience. Every now and then on escalators, in turning doors, or elevators people might get too close to you, but so far it's the exception and not the norm. When I'm in open air, once there's more than 5 people within a 10 ft. Radius I automatically pull my mask up. Whenever I enter or exit shops or buildings, I take advantage of the free hand disinfectant dispensers, which most people seem to utilize as well.

Most people wear their mask. There's haphazard social distancing because people do forget but then they notice the markings on the ground. Home Depot is a pain because you have to stand in a line outside to get into the store, Plastic shields are up everywhere. Restaurants are opening but some are boarded up, not due to protesting, that's sad to see but not really unusual they come and go here normally. Looks like this weekend everything will be in swing if not totally full swing.
Time keeps on slipping into the future...

This moment is all there is...
