I've got over 100 hours in already 😂.

I don't make designs myself but you can use the website I linked below to scan in any image you find on the internet. I've got the Purple Rain and Thriller albums hanging on my wall.

A few tips.

Make sure you rename each image to prevent them going in as a default name. To rename the images, click on "change" on the left side of the screen on the website.

You need a Switch Online subscription and the Switch Online app for smartphones to upload images.

You can only import one image at a time so make sure you've saved the image in-game before scanning in another one.

The Purple Rain album cover doesn't look great in the game. Very blurry. You can still make out what it is but simple images like the 3121 or Batman album covers translate much better into the game.

OMG I play 😀😀😀 My FC is in my sig and my current tag is Lunar. AC name is Tiffany. Making hybrids take patience. I only have a few purple flowers but my goal is a lot of blue and black ones since they attract Emperor butterflies which are worth 4K bells I think.

I think you'll need to ignore the *graphics* on that game - I have a feeling it's the gameplay they were trying to design, with it. But hey - I think it's really awesome that they're putting Art into games, don't you? What about the rest of those? Feel like giving one or two a shot? smile Maybe you can get DA BRUDDERMAN to tell u of even more....? He should know..... smile (and I wouldn't mind knowing about some more myself, if he tells you.....)

I never mentioned the graphics. But they look crap as well. Those kinds of nonsense games are of no interest to me at all.

But if you're looking for "art" in videogames, you should check out games like Firewatch, What Remains of Edith Finch and Kentucky Route Zero. Those 3 games are top quality art. Alternatively, you could check out Deadly Premonition. The most critically polarizing game of all time, according to the Guinness Book of Records.

My brother works for a major games company and is currently working on art assets for 3 separate games. He's too busy to talk to me on Whatsapp for more than 5 minutes. He definitely wouldn't have the time or, knowing him, the enthusiasm to look at any links I send him.

domainator2010	Thanx for those suggestions, I checked em out, they look VERRRY interesting! ...although 100% American - are there any games with Irish culture in them? Like, you walk around and you can find Wallis Bird singing somewhere with her band or something....?

Deadly Premonition is Japanese.

The Witcher 3 features quite a bit of Irish culture despite being set in a complete fantasy land. A lot of place and character names are Irish words. In fact, a lot of fantasy-themed games "borrow" a lot from Irish culture.

One of the old Broken Sword games was set partly in Ireland.

have they fixed their huge error of one island per switch? to me that is a deal killer. I assume they had a reason but will work it out at some point.

yes it is a deal killer. I am giving Nintendo credit that it is a coding issue and something they are working to fix. Otherwise it seems like a way to sell more consoles.

But then again I have several games I bought I need to finish.... Spiderman, RDRII, Far Cry 3, Far Cry New Dawn, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human Heavy Rain, Too Human, Katamari, Zelda Links awaking...

As far as I remember, the 3DS game was the same in that you could only have one island per console. So I don't think it's an error. They might update it though if people continue to complain but seeing as the game is selling in record numbers I don't think they really care about losing out on a few sales. They're raking the cash in at the moment. Maybe in a year or so they might update it just to pick up a few hold outs but I doubt it's a priority for them.

It's not that violent. It's no more violent than most other games in the same genre. Besides, there's nothing wrong with a bit of violence in movies or videogames. Or books, for that matter. Seeing as The Witcher games are based on the books.

There's a TV show too on Netflix starring Henry Cavill. It's really good, I'd recommend it. Some of the casting was a bit off for me because they changed ethnicities of the characters for no reason whatsoever. Yennifer, his love interest in it, is always depicted as pale skinned in the books and her depiction in the game is pretty much exactly what I imagined when I read the book. But in the TV show she's played by an Indian actress. Triss Merigold, another love interest (he's got a lot of love interests) is a pale, redhead in the books. She's black in the show. I'm all for diversity in movies and TV but when they change ethnicities of established characters for no reason it doesn't sit well with me. Having said that, it's still an excellent show.

I couldn't see the appeal until I tried the phone version... it was alright, but I still wasn't won over. But then I took a chance & got this 1. Love it!

Just got finished buying yellow paisley bandanas 4 myself & the 1st 3 members of my island's community. ;)

I've also set aside a park area I'm currently decorating which I want 2 call Paisley Park. Haven't gotten around 2 making a sign yet, but I will once I figure out how 2 do it properly. wink

I got to the bamboo island and I cleared it for scorpions and rare beetles but it is full of butterflies... well past their time...is this a Full Moon thing?

If you're doing that "Scorpion Island" cheat you need to wait til after 7pm. They don't spawn until after 7 so you're wasting your time trying before then. Also, there are some mystery Islands that they don't appear on at all, even after 7 o'clock.

how is it cheating? it is not like time travel or exiting without saving or even using a different account to get more items. It is using the game mechanics as designed.

And it was after 7PM...I think? Our system is an hour early... so when it is 7PM here it is 6PM game time. I do not know why but it was not planned.

If you were seeing butterflies instead then it wasn't after 7pm because they don't spawn after 7. To fix that extra hour thing just change the time on your Switch console.

I did not mean to be defensive. Sorry. and it was after 9 and butterflies! I thought it was a full moon thing. But at lest I got some bamboo,
