It is administrative professionals day today and nobody remembered from my office.. .My office is so wrapped up in politics and making money, but stupid ho boss totally forgot about me...

this happened to me when i was an admin asst. i complained loudly to a co-worker and my boss over heard me. that afternoon, he had flowers delivered to me.

I didn't get anything for Administrative Professionals Day this year either, but I was kind of expecting it to be that way, since three of my bosses left the company and my other boss is on vacation.

Since I knew that there were no gifts forthcoming, guess what I did? I bought some roses from a guy at work who was selling them through his Rotary Club and had them delivered to me. My philosophy is, if your boss or bosses forget to get you something for Administrative Professionals Day, to hell with them, buy yourself a gift. It will help you to forget all about your stupid boss or bosses, and you will feel good about yourself again.

As it turns out, I'm damn glad that I did buy myself those roses, since I just found out that I'm losing my job, effective May 1st, due to company restructuring.

One of my good friends at work came in with Balloons and a gift for me for secretaries day and my boss happened to see it and said OH MY GOD>. I can't beleive i forgot!!! And i got this crappy email of how much she loves and appreciates me and i wanted to write back.. Too little too late bitch!

At my job, we were given fold up chairs with matching travel pillows. We're not really sure why. But hey, it's a chair and a pillow I didn't have before, so like whatever. Yay.
