Is it a good time now to upgrade to Windows 10? Just curious with no support for Windows 7 now. Has all the bugs been worked out on 10 and for anyone using Windows 10 has it been a good experience? Asking because I'm considering the upgrade for my desktop and laptop. Don't laugh at my funk

Domainator will be along shortly to try sell you on Linux 😂 I've been using Windows 10 on my laptop for a while and it's ok. My only complaint is that there are too many updates. Every time I turn it on I'm hit with an update. Now, in fairness, I only turn my laptop on maybe once or twice a month. I'm not a big computer user. My brother told me I can take his desktop though so I plan to get that at the weekend. He's also sending me over all the bells and whistles needed to turn it into a "monster gaming PC". Once I get all that set up (and it could take me a long time to figure all that stuff out) I'll be using it more often so I'll have a better idea how Windows 10 is and I'll let you know. But from my limited usage of it, it's no worse than what I had before, which I think was also Windows 7.

I'm on 7 Pro, and need to update at some point. But funny you ask, here's a key for Win 10 Pro for $9.01 (totally legit, not a scam).
Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I had to buy a new computer anyway so I got one on Black Friday with Windows 10; it takes a bit to get used to after Win 7 but I haven't had any problems so far and it's user friendly. yes; update. I sticked with 7 till a year ago and thought it's the best thing out there, but if your hardware is good enough, W10 beats it easily. Never ever crashed on me yet. And i'm the type that has always about 400 browser tabs open (for real)

Windows 10 Home build 1909 is the current version. About every 6 months/a year you'll get an upgrade to the next build. Depending on your tech level and bravery, you could go Linux., Linux Mint Xfce has been running solid for basic web/media/office/etc. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I got my desktop upgraded. I like it a hell of a lot better than Windows 8. My sister has that on her laptop she's had for several years and I hate it. I've already convinced her to let me upgrade hers to Windows 10. I dig the features on 10 a lot better and it is user friendly mentioned earlier. Don't laugh at my funk

Yeah, I hated Windows 8--refused to use it. But Windows 10 is a vast improvement. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
