Not really. I didn't/don't have any particular talent (arts or sports) to make a career out of it, and I knew that since my teenage years.
Stars have this aura around them because of the huge money (total freedom), but as naive as it sounds, money truly can't buy happiness (not necessarily the same as complete financial freedom) or health.
As a 35 year old, I wouldn't trade a good-paid regular job for promises of fame and fortune. In fact, I would welcome the fortune but I don't care about fame. In fact, I'd loathe being something popular on the street.

As a teenager, I definitely wanted to. But as I grew older, I realised I wanted something else instead - to have a positive impact on the world. It's not exactly the same because you can do that without being famous, but, at the very least, I'd like to be recognised for what I will have done.
I've just watched Little Richard's appearance on Grammy in 1988 and I feel this man deserved more. At least he got some recognition when he was alive. full lips, freckles, and upturned nose | |

Still don’t want to be a star, but I got my childhood dream out of the way by sharing a song I wrote on my social media for my birthday. I actually didn’t get a lot of likes for it as I expected, but got dozens of likes for posting a new family photo. I hope this doesn’t mean my song sucked even though I got positive feedback from a few people and one person heard the mj influence in it :) Thought I would share, but I’m not posting the song here lol | |
