I totally respect that you tried. I tried my hand at it and know like 3 chords, but also feel it’s very hard to play and could never understand how people do it in live concerts

the muscle memory required to play guitar is so overlooked...i was able to learn the chord shapes over time but changing from one chord shape to another, quickly and in rhythm, can be so hard sometimes... trying to learn, undetstand, and practice all the different scales (major, and minor pentatonic, mixolydian, dorian mode, aeolian) was/is like learning to speak multiple languages at the same time. i love the challenge though...and every once in a whole when i can feel and hear the progress, its a better feeling than good sex...so ill never stop trying to be great at it

It truly is a gift being able to play live and that part of memory is definitely underrated. Definitely keep at it and make some clips too so you can look back on good moments captured on camera

Hey, hey... how are you? I hope all is well. Took the time to get my CompTIA Linux+ certification, now I'm zeroing on ARM certification. So I've just messing around with Raspberry and ODROID ARM boards. Have you checked out the new arm PineBook Pro ARM latptop an Phone? https://store.pine64.org/...pe=product

Yup. Instrumental Music teacher by day, play in several bands on the weekends (at least before the 'rona hit!). Specialist on brass instruments (BMus QLD Conservatorium), probably first-year college level on keys and guitars, and not too shabby on woodwinds and drums. My 'thang' is playing trumpet and keys at the same time:
