The New Pope

It was surprisingly contemporary in comparison to the first season, The Young Pope, with all the celebrity cameos and references to migrants, Brexit and Meghan Markle. It was also more salaciously silly--which made it additionally entertaining for sure, but not necessarily better. And I'm not completely sold on the resolution to the terrorism subplot. Everything else about it, however, was glorious. 4.5/5

A few of my favorite scenes and there are so so many.

Cracks me up every time. I loved Bauer, all about perception.

The writing was so thought provoking.

Currently rewatching The Wire with my husband. This is my 4th time watching it and his first. We're just up to the end of season 2. This is, along with The Sopranos, one of the best shows of all time. Possibly the best. Certainly in the top 2.

Good Gawd!

If 'The Walking Dead' gets anymore boring, i'll stab myself in the skull!!!

They seriously need to redeem themselves with an epic Rick return or an outside-world wake-up.

The L Word:Generation Q.

This was definitely a pandemic watch, as it was never on top of my list to see.

star star and a half stars out of 5. Not bad, butthe endless infidelity gets tiresome unless you love tv sex. Jennifer Beale is good here.

This Netflix show "Tiger King" is such a trainwreck and I'm not sure if I can make it all the way through, I'm on episode 3

I watched the first two so far and found the people to be the trainwrecks but the show fairly intriguing. There certainly doesn't seem to be anyone to identify with or root for.

It's that car wreck fascination because I have to keep looking.

I keep feeling like I need to wash after I watch an episode but I'm on to far to stop now.

The Man in the High Castle - Season 4

I didn't care for the sci-fi divergence from the book in previous seasons, but now that I've gotten used to it, I thought the final season was very, very good--reminiscent of Fringe at times. A short epilogue would have been appreciated to clarify the ambiguous final scene. I was tempted to read in it some kind of commentary about open borders. 4.5/5

I loved this season, the whole show for that matter. Watching Himmler dying at the hands of Smith was great. With that said how come the complot to take control over USA came to be? something I did not understand.

Image result for ozark season 3 photo

Answer: A hell of a lot!!

The third season of Ozark was the best yet, IMO. I enjoyed the first two seasons, but thought it wasn't quite up to the Breaking Bad series that likely insprired it. Season 3 is at the Breaking Bad leve of engagementl. It is riviting and well acted. Laura Linney deserves an Emmy.

star star star star (of 4)

I've only seen a few episodes of Community here and there, now Netflix has them all on so I'm partaking. 3.5/5

Funny how quickly social norms change there are things said in 2010 that were funny that now give pause.

Homeland S1-2 Whoa I missed this since I didn’t have cable. Outstanding acting. I’m on season 3 right now.

The first two seasons were by far the best, IMO. This is not to say that the rest of the series isn't worth watching. But man, those first two season were classic!
