Boyz II Men

No this isn't a thread about the phildelphia group Boyz II Men (I wonder what ever Happened to them, but anywayz). This thread is about my favorite subject, not me silly... men smile You know you men are like a bad drug, easily addictive, yet hard to run away from... even if you know it ain't healthy, you still want to try just because it's so damn tempting drool. Why can't I be a normal chick and just be addicted to shoe shopping or something... truthfully shoes bore me, yeah they come in all colors shapes and sizes, but there's something missing... oh wait I'm rambling again, getting lost inside my fantasy of ... not me u guys dang, men lol You all should know me by now...

Anyhew at what point in a guy life does a boy become a man? I know I ask before , but I don't think the question was answered quit clear. Cuz their alot of little boyz out there pretending to men and those who are prentending fool me every time,I'm thinking I'm with a 30 yr old. when really he's 16 inside. So Maybe it's true, men never grow up, somewhere down the line when your in a relationship a woman has to become his mother as well as his lover, there's just something about a guy who has a need to be taking care of like a small child. you gotta cook, clean, comfort just like you would with a infant, I don't mind it, but I sure would like for it 2 be the other way around sometimes ...

Anywayz... you guys just need to get it together or else I'm going to need a drug smile

i'm 25 and my husband is only 20, but oddly enough i think of him as being older than i am because he's very intellegent and mature! i've always been more mature minded for my age,so he's much like me. so i think it depends so much on the man.

For me I think there was no set time in my life where I thought, "I am officially a man." It came as a gradual progression. I am an adult and I have responsibilities as such. That being said, I believe your mind can gain experience and through those experiences transform you from a child to an adult. I also believe that you don't have to shed your youthfulness just because you get older.

True my youth may be past, but I believe that my youthfulness and the curiosity and enthusiasm that is inherent in my youth will never die as long as I tend to them. All the best qualities of youth: curiosity, constant discovery of new things, laughter, etc won't die if you tend to them.

In terms of being a man, I set my own foundations. Many people have said, "A man should be this and that. He shoud behave in a certain way, have a certain outlook on life and others." I always believed that a true man defines himself and is constantly working on his strengths and weaknesses. I am always working on this and yes it is a struggle.

I need to be honest and acknowledge my fears but not be overcome by them but rather face them and hopefully do away with them. I don't worry about other men but about my own development as a human being.

On a lighter note, I'd like to add that I'm also quite proud of my extensive porn collection and that my shrine to Tabitha Cash is coming along nicely, verrry nicely...smile
