Twin Peaks - Season 2

After the mystery from season one was solved, the episodes meandered a lot before ending with a serious cliffhanger. And then it got canceled. Argh. After the Fire Walks with Me movie, I guess I'm off to Showtime to find out what happens 25 years later. 3.5/5

Omniscient (Netflix sci-fi) 3.5/5 It had one glaring flaw in the storyline but outside of that flaw a very good story premise

In a city where citizens are monitored 24/7, a tech employee must outsmart her surveillance drone in order to investigate her father's murder.

Ace

I just watched the first half of the first episode of High Fidelity.

I love Zoe, but I hated the movie and it looks like the series is more of the same. I'll try and stick with it for a little bit at least, though.

...But based on what I've seen? shake

The Young Pope

I revisited this show before starting the sequel series entitled, The New Pope. I love the way it's filmed by director Paolo Sorrentino with just the right touch of surreal whimsy while still feeling somewhat grounded in reality. Jude Law also gets credit for turning Pope Pius XIII from despicable to lovable by the season finale. 4.5/5

Hunters. can be viewed on two levels. one level is as an action series about good guys hunting bad guys. another level is a moral question about the nature of vengeance (spelled out in one of the first scenes wherein the protagonist and his friends are discussing how Batman kills nearly as many people as his adversaries). does killing my brother's killer right a wrong? or do we become that which we seek to eradicate when we take justice into our own hands? not bad at all.

I just finished the second season, It was a great show, however sometimes the plot is a little bit fishy and not believable.
