It's right there for the Chiefs....no Brady, no Belicheat, no Ravens, championship game in their house, 50 years since their last SB appearance....it's now or never.

The only thing to worry about is Andy Reid's coaching/time management in big games.

We've got to do this. Like you said, it's our chance, hope they don't blow it.

As you know, the NFL is such a year-to-year league....injuries, free agency, coaching changes.....the window of opportunity can close pretty quick. Look at the 49ers under Harbaugh - they had those three great years and couldn't get over the hump. Also, you have to win before the young franchise QB gets that phat contract (like Seattle with Russell Wilson). Once the QB gets paid, other areas of the team will suffer. Tom Brady's always given NE a discount, but that's a unique situation.

BTW I acknowledge uPtoWnNY's complete accuracy re: Bill O'Brien. All the Houston sportswriters are calling for O'Brien to quit before he gets fired.

I actually didn't have a problem with kicking the FG, but going for it in Chiefs territory made no sense.

Lamar Jackson's getting a lot of hate from the "I told you so-running QBs can't win" crowd on social media. We all know he had a bad game and got flustered. Other teams will look at the game tape and go to school on him. Lamar will have to adjust if he wants to be great. But to say he's a bust after two years is straight ignorance.

It wasn't just Lamar....where was Baltimore's defense????

Also didn't help Mark Ingram wasn't healthy

Earl Thomas was the main one talking shit about NE not wanting to tackle Henry.

It was one clip of Thomas looking like he didn't want to tackle him either lol

I'm not going to start a whole thread for the college championship but I do want to recognize that the national championship trophy is back in the SEC, where it belongs.

Exactly! Bayou Bengals! RIP Joe Burrow if you get drafted by the Bengals.

Break open that champagne Poppys! Being in South Carolina I do root for the Clemson

players and Gamecock players to go on and have successful careers in the NFL but the

Clemson fanbase has gotten so cocky it's ridiculous. Glad to see them get a dose of humble

pie.

cool People here are losing it, still partying. With the Caujun coach and all too, it's a love fest. Do you think the Bengals might not draft Burrow?

The Saints should trade whatever it takes to the Bengals to get the #1 pick so they can draft Burrow. I mean, Drew Brees is his hero. It'd be a match made in heaven!

It's probably a shoo in unless he has an awful combine. I'm quite sure they are hoping he's

the franchise qb and they move on from the inconsistent Andy Dalton

Wow Rodeo, like your idea. Would be an iconic move and great continuing story.

Agreed. It's easy to forget that the average NFL career lasts only 3 years and guys like Gronk, Kuechly and Luck have played much longer than that.
