Sorry guy I was with the Saints. I was hoping Brees got him another ring. I also wanted Detroit

to beat Green Bay last week so your guys could get a bye and it could have been Minnesota

knocking Green Bay out. No Cowboys, No Patriots. Now all I need is for the Ravens and Packers

to lose and all will be right in the postseason for me. Better luck next year with the Saints.

The Vikes will give the Niners a run too. They have very similar styles. I expect as good of a game there as MINvNO was.

I too was with ya, wanted a Saints/Chiefs superbowl. Now rooting for a Chiefs/Vikings superbowl. Don't want the bird teams in. I'm ok with the Packers too going in though I know phunkdaddy hates them. Texans is my second choice for the AFC

Wildcard round picks

Texans over the Bills The "Good HOU" barely won out.

Patriots over the Titans Look at TEN! They're proving me wrong and 2freaky right.

Saints over the Vikings MIN has a style that translates well on the road.

Seahawks over the Eagles

Road warriors win. Of the 8 teams left standing at least 5 of them (BAL, TEN, SEA, MIN, SF) play a run-heavy offense balanced by explosive perimeter players. Many of those teams also have aggressive, physical defenses.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Thanks guys. After the game, I was walking to the corner store and heard sad mournful bagpipes. There was a guy standing ON TOP OF HIS HOUSE (straddling the roof point) blasting them.

Brees just picked the wrong Sunday to have a bad game. He looked like he just never

got comfortable in the pocket most of the game. The fumble at the end. sad

I felt bad for Brees ending the game that way.

Their playoff woes threaten to overshadow their SB victory.

its not like Brees just randomly had a bad game... the Vikings d-line caused that... Danielle Hunter and Everson Griffen were in his face and on his back with pressure all day long.. people acting like the Saints lost the game, and the Vikings defense (and Kirk Cousins) didnt WIN it... to hold the Saints to 20 points (3 off a turnover;1st drive) in New Orleans, is outstanding...Vikings also controlled time of possession with good D and a solid running game..

The Vikes' game travels well. And I think it will again this week in SF.

They beat the Niners in San Fran as the Wild Card way back when the Niners were the top seed in the NFC, in '88.

ATTN 2FREAKY AND OTHER FANS OF THE BUNGLES AND BROWNIES. IF YOU ARE A DOPER, GOOD NEWS!

https://www.cnn.com/2020/...index.html

Browns and Bengals fans don't fear -- help may soon be here. But it's not the franchise savior you've been dreaming of.

The State Medical Board of Ohio is officially considering a petition that asks Cleveland Browns or Cincinnati Bengals fandom be considered a qualifying condition to legally obtain medical marijuana.

Seriously.

The board held an open submission period on the state's website from November 1 to December 31, and there were 28 submissions for potential new qualifying conditions filed electronically.

Most of the submissions dealt with medical illnesses like Epstein-Barr, PTSD and depression. But there was also this: "Bengals/Browns Fans."

Tessie Pollock, chief communications officer at the State Medical Board of Ohio, confirmed that the proposed condition is being considered to CNN.

<snip>

It may seem like a joke. But Pollock said whoever submitted the affliction did quite a bit of work to get it there.

lol What does that even mean?

Anyway, this league is called the Not For Long for a reason. Like all SB victories, they'll never be taken away from the Saints. But the recent playoff woes now dominate the conversation. Just as it has with the Packers and their HOF QB who won a title a decade ago.

Hell, you Saints fans didn't let the rest of us forget what happened last year. Hence my point.

Joe Judge talks like a young Bill Parcells...complete with the classic Philly/New Jersey accent...especially the way he defiantly says "OKAYYY??.." to emphasize a point, after he says some tough guy stuff...Parcells ALWAYS did that...and so did Judge's mentor Bill Belichick.

I'm tired of hearing how Brees tender with the Saints is in Jeopardy now. Shit he had a great year and broke records. Not sure if it's just sports writers creating unwanted drama. If that was the case 31 QB's job every year would be in jeopardy for not winning the superbowl.
