since there is a lakers thread, i decided to post a sixers thread.

i have been a long time sixer fan from the days of julius erving, through charles barkley, to the present day with allen iverson. i lover iverson's game. he is the most most fearles mf in the league. if you look at his body and how he drives the lane against guys who may outweigh him by close to 100 pounds, it's amazing.

i think they have a decent chance to get out of the east and into the finals. mainly because the rest of the east teams are pretty weak.

however, i think 3 - 4 teams from the west could easily beat them in the finals, and don't think they'll win it all. they are several pieces away from a championship, but they are a very entertaining and i'll route big time for them this year.

I take offense to the calling of the Bucks weak. We are 9 or 10 players deep and if Karl figures out the rotation we are going...

no offence is intended, i think all the teams in the east are weak, even my be-loved sixers.

i still resent the bucks back in 1983 spoiling the sixers perfect playoff record. their only loss in the playoffs that year was to the bucks. that was the year they swept the lakers in the finals. i still have a video tape of game four somewhere in a box in my storage room

and, oh, by the way, i'm moving to portland in a few months, so i'll have to route for the trailblazers in the west, as hard as that may be. at least mo cheeks coaches them.
