I almost feel guilty beginning such a topic because I think so much sex-related discussion here is designed for juvenile kicks. But I just HAD to get some serious insight on this (please pardon me)...

On the Toronto-based "Sunday Night Sex Show," TV sex therapist Sue Johannsen just mentioned that some women can expel up to 2 liters of vaginal fluid during a deep orgasm. I've heard of female ejaculators, but this just sounds absurd!

Has anyone else heard of such a finding?

The average mature ovarian follicle contains between 200 microlitres and 8 millilitres (a big one!) that’s as a maximum a teaspoon of follicular fluid per ovulation that would pass into the peritoneum. Generally ovulation occurs from one or the other ovary each month, rarely do you have natural multiple ovulations. This aside, he fluid would have to get into the uterus (?) at least to be expelled via the cervix at orgasm.

Neither are going to come out in any form of female ejaculate.

Now for speculation,

I saw an episode of "Sex in the City" (yea guys can watch it too!) where some woman expelled a measurable volume of fluid during orgasm, and it got me wondering too.

My guess is that vaginal mucus (which is known to be increased during periods of sexual arousal) builds up and vaginal muscular contractions expel the mucus at orgasm giving the impression of ejaculation.

2 litres, Hmmm, anything is possible I suppose, but that seems a lot.
