Let's drill down on this (pardon the pun). When you say numb I'm guessing

I, myself, am a recent dumpee! Agreed, it sucks the big one! Depending on how much time you were in the relationship might be a measure of how much time you spend:

  1. Curling up in a corner and licking your wounds
  2. Taking inventory of yourself
  3. Staying numb because it keeps you safe
  4. Beginning to tell yourself you were not rejected, you were redirected

I was with him for a few years... I dumped him because he was cheating on me - im numb because i dont want to get hurt again.... u had a few right!
