It's like Carl Sagan passed the torch to a 15 yo Neil, that's when they met, went on some kind of day trip together, talked a lot. I understand Carl took a lot of flack for becoming a 'celebrity' scientist by bringing the cosmos and science facts directly to the public but he revolutionized the concept in educating the public that we see today

Bollocks to the flack! Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" is what got me interested in science as a kid when school bored me. And his successor Neil Degrasse Tyson is one of my son's role models...and my son is now a scientist.

I never saw it, I don't know why but that was a time of a lot of upheaval so I missed out.
