My parents took me with them to see The Apartment (in the theater on a weekday night) when I was @5. Supposed to be going to sleep and too young to understand, but didn't happen. First sexuality movie that I remember.

Also adore Fanny & Alexander. Made a point to see it when it came out.

We don't have Thanksgiving here but I'd say Planes Trains and Automobiles would be a perfect movie to watch on Thanksgiving. The ending gets me every time. God I miss John Candy.

Usually start with Planes Trains and Automobiles for this reason (and my OCD).

John Candy always just felt like a great guy. Uncle Buck is my favorite of his movies.
