Which do you prefer: HSN, QVC, Amazon, etc?

I like HSN and QVC I started watching HSN when I was a teenager because my grandmother always ordered items from them.

Never have bought anything from those tv stores. The jewelry always looks nice and unique though. Maybe one day I'll buckle.

QVC now owns HSN, but they operate independently. They joined last year.

I watch QVC all the time for certain shows. In The Kitchen with David on Sunday and Wednesday is a fun show if you're a foodie or a kitchen nerd like I am. There's also a Fri-Yay edition of that show, and he does Saturday Morning Q (I don't get up early enough to watch that) and Down Home with David on Thursdays. I often tape the shows and scan thru them. But I used to watch them front to back.

From QVC, I've ordered a few great things. Lock n' Lock twice, great storage containers that I can actually use (and do so to the point that I need another set; when I see it I'll know when to get it). The CopperChef cookware items are great. We have some larger pieces that we love. I also got two 4K FireTV sticks from them (for around $65), as well as my Amazon Echo (for $75). I've bought other misc stuff that I actually use. Temp-Tations stuff is nice, but not masculine enough for my tastes, although I think Tara Tescher has hinted at a more neutral design coming in 2020 (it takes time to make that stuff, cuz it's all made by hand). There's a lot of nice stuff on there for my kitchen at a great price, but not always something I can use enough to justify paying for it.

I've only ordered Debbie Meyer Green containers from HSN.

I use Amazon a lot like anyone, but it depends what you're looking to buy. I don't think there's one go-to over another. You're going to find better deals on some electronics on QVC or HSN, depending. It's often a bundle offer, so you may get a keybaord, case, a month free to any particular service (Audible, Pandora Premium, or whatever). QVC sells a lot of KitchenAid and most times their prices are great, but if you can find the same pasta attachment or food grinder on Amazon for less, you should go for it.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

TrivialPursuit, David is also one of my favorite hosts from QVC. He wrote many great cook books and always posts new recipes on social media and the QVC website. A few days ago Chef Wolf Gang Puck was on HSN cooking and selling his cook ware set, convention oven and other items.

Yeah, Wolfgang and Curtis Stone are on HSN. Emeril, America's Test Kitchen, and other big names are on QVC. I think Paula Deen is on Evine.

I think David's written two cookbooks. We have one of them. I ordered Meredith Lawrence's book One Pot comfort, where the recipes has 2 or 3 ways to prepare them (pressure cooker, slow cooker, dutch oven, etc.). She used to represent the Cook's Essentials stuff (QVC's in-house brand). I've bought Ina Garten's cookbooks on there when she's appeared. It's always a better price.

I've had my name mentioned twice on David's show, once included with a photo of a roast I just cooked. I saved videos of both. hahaha It was fun.
