I already don't like it because they have the names of the characters the wrong way around 😂

Yeah doesn't sound right. Plus I hate it because just the title alone feels forced. Changing it just to change it.

I know it's technically the same thing but it just sounds wrong. Like, nobody ever said "I love those old Hardy and Laurel movies" or "my favourite cartoon is Jerry and Tom".

There will be hell to be paid for if they start calling it Robin and Batman [Edited 11/23/19 18:31pm]

I'm thinking the name change is the studio wanting to separate its new movie from this critical clunker from a few years ago:

. According to director in an interview, the title was changed because this version focuses on Gretel, who is older: "It's awfully faithful to the original story. It's got really only three principal characters: Hansel, Gretel, and the Witch. We tried to find a way to make it more of a coming of age story. I wanted Gretel to be somewhat older than Hansel, so it didn't feel like two twelve-year-olds -- rather a sixteen-year-old and an eight-year-old. There was more of a feeling like Gretel having to take Hansel around everywhere she goes, and how that can impede one's own evolution, how our attachments and the things that we love can sometimes get in the way of our growth." . The story is described as being set a long time ago in a distant fairy tale countryside and focuses on a young girl (Sophia Lillis) who leads her little brother (Sam Leakey) into a dark wood in desperate search of food and work, only to stumble upon a nexus of terrifying evil. — Orion Pictures

She looks a lot like the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz here. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
