Fans mourn the death of horror film icon, Sid Haig

A lot of people knew Sid because of the movies he did with Rob Zombie. But a lot of folks also knew him from the stuff he did in the 70's. Specifically the blaxploitation movies he acted in. And, from what's out there, Sid was a great guy. He'll definitely be missed.

Horror icon Sid Haig, a native of Fresno, died Sept. 21, 2019 at age 80. UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD

"Sid Haig, the horror-film and B-movie icon best known for his work with director Rob Zombie, died Saturday at the age of 80.

The Fresno native and Roosevelt High School graduate was admitted to the hospital earlier this month. At the time, his wife asked fans for their prayers in a quick recovery".
