Steelers sign Paxton Lynch to practice squad

shake

I never thought I'd see the day when I would say I would prefer Landry Jones on the roster.

Paxon Lynch stinks to high hell. Landry for as bad as he can be is definitely better than Paxton.

They should have signed Chad Kelly, who beat out Lynch for the job in Denver.

But then I'd have to root for the Stealers and that would place me in a conundrum.

He's still in his prime,,,so if he beats these charges, some team will give him a shot.

The Daniel Jones era officially begins at 4:05pm. This lost season for the Giants isn't about wins - it's about finding out if Jones has what it takes to be Eli's heir apparent. If not, and NY has to draft another QB, Gettleman is done.

Antonio Brown announces he will not play in the NFL

Antonio Brown says he will not be playing in the NFL, making the announcement via Twitter just two days after the New England Patriots released the maligned wide receiver.

"Will not be playing in the @NFL anymore these owners can cancel deals do whatever they want at anytime we will see if the @NFLPA hold them accountable sad they can just void guarantees anytime going on 40m 2 months will see if they pay up !," the former wide receiver said on Sunday morning.

nod I also think Brown's friends and family have also been giving Brown bad advice and help him get his ego out of control.

For one week, Daniel Jones will be a hero in NYC. Sucks that Saquon got hurt, and he's in a walking boot too....not good. Defense is horseshit.

Well it was definitely a way more competitive game than the Patriots game. Plus when I said that Ben was still playing.Wow since the 49ers are winning I guess they will be showing up more now.

Honestly, it was the Defense that let Rudolph down against the Seahawks. That INT was Moncrief fault, and why he still is on the team I do not kwow. If he was a kicker he would have been shown the door by now. Not buying that cross-country road game theory, Rudolph did cross-country games all during college.

The untimely loss of PIT's WR coach was tough. He coached so many of those guys up over the years.

The loss of PIT's big 3 playmakers over the course of a year is tough regardless of who is coaching.

I don't see how Tomlin has stuck with his defensive coaches for so long.

Exactly. Also the best coach the Steeler's had last was Mike Munchak who left as well. Regardless there needs to be a coaching change in Pittsburgh.

Well Bell hasn't played with the team for 2 years and Conner does shows some promise (though he needs to work on ball control) Antonio Clown leaving turns out to be a blessing after all. Ben needs to get in shape. I don't know, Bill Belichick seems to adapt when losing important players such as Brady and Gronk.

Bell didn't play in 2018. Brown played his last game in 2018 and Ben is out for the season. Losing Ben was the biggest blow.

After the past six years of bad/mediocre Giants football, I'll take a lucky win. At least Daniel Jones has breathed life into this season, but that defense would have trouble against a high school varsity team (Jack Rabbit was Fried Rabbit against Mike Evans). That's why I was against bringing Eli back - that money could have been used on the 'D'.

Saquon is out at least eight weeks with a high ankle sprain. That kind of injury is killer to a RB. Giants can't rush him back.

That happened last year though.

Now, I'd think if I were a Chiefs fan that Jalen Ramsey would look really good in yellow and red for KC.

I wouldn't touch Jalen Ramsey with a 10-foot pole. IMO, he's locker room poison. Too risky.

Maybe this time, the Chiels will play 60 minutes of football against the Pats instead of 59.

^^^^^

I can't stand his ass. I was glad to see AJ Green whip his ass a couple years
ago. Just like that asshole Cortland Finnegan got his ass whipped by Andre Johnson
as well several years ago. Sometimes these mouthy guys that talk a lot will pick on the wrong dude and get an ass whipping.
