Dating back to the Super Bowl NE's defense has been nearly perfect. If the Pats can score 2 offensive TDs nobody in the NFC can beat them.

It's likely going to come down to some combo of GB, NO, SF and SEA in the NFC title game. Other teams that could make noise include DET and PHI.

Green Bay has become NE 2.0

It was sickening to see Detroit get robbed once again. If the game is close GB gets

the favorable call like NE. The PI calls were total bullshit.

The NFL has no idea what pass interference is. They're trying to make amends after New Orleans was robbed last season, but they've gone too far.

Yeah but don't see any of them beating the Patriots. We can talk how shakey the Pats offense is but in the end the Pats scores enough points to win sad . I like the Saints and Packers in the NFC Championship game

[Edited 10/15/19 9:22am]

I give the New Orleans the best chance of any NFC team to beat NE, because of Brees, the Saints defense and Sean Payton matching wits with Belichick. That's what I call a serious chess match.

The big question I'm hearing now is would Carolina move on from Cam Newton? Kyle Allen seems to be a better fit for Norv Turner's offense. It's an interesting situation.

NO's defense seems to have marginally improved. But if Brees can't stretch the Pats' defense with deep throws, it may not matter what Payton draws up against NE.

As for CAR . . . maybe it's best for both sides if they split. The Panthers have allowed Cam to take a beating for 4 years, and Cam's career passing percentage barely rounds up to 60% (the "Mendoza line" for QBs).

They're unstoppable this season! Their defense is incredible.

Their investment in their lines over the past few years is paying dividends.

Yes it looks like they have gone back to the future of 6 seasons ago.

I felt that defensive stop on the goal line in the first half changed the complexion

of the game when the Rams threatened to take the league. I wouldn't go as far to say

they are unstoppable. Hell the Steelers had them on the ropes at their place with a

backup qb but the Steelers couldn't take advantage of their turnovers. It would be a huge

mistake to discount the Rams and Seahawks just yet especially if the Rams get a healthy Todd

Gurley going again this season. My sleeper in the NFC this year is Detroit not for a Super Bowl

run of course but for a playoff spot.

Yeah I'm not sold on the 49ers as well.

I'm not saying they aren't good I'm just saying let's pump the breaks on them being

elite just yet.

Don't laugh at my funk

There is talk here in KC that maybe Mahomes should sit the next game out, and nurse his ankle. We'll see what happens.

They can afford to rest him. The rest of the division is faltering now (DEN, SD), or will falter later (OAK).

Yes I knew what you were saying. They are an improved team for sure. But would they be 5-0 IF the first 5 games they played were the Saints, Patriots, Packers, Vikings, and Chiefs?

Bengals suspend OT Cordy Glenn for one game

The team announced Friday it suspended the offensive tackle for one game for internal disciplinary reasons. Glenn has been placed on the Reserve/Suspended list by the club and will not count against the team's 53-player roster while serving the suspension. lol

According to an expert doctor I heard on WFAN, he's going to have to wear a brace, and he'll have to be more of a pocket passer.

Cousins will have to get it done in the playoffs before I start taking him seriously. If he does, Vikings are dangerous. Is it safe to say Dan Quinn is dead-man walking in Atlanta? Philly needs Desean Jackson back ASAP. That was embarrassing.

Have faith. A Mahomes confimed to the pocket is still better than most every team's signal caller in the league.
