Eddie Murphy Will Host ‘SNL’ for First Time Since 1984, Phoebe Waller-Bridge Also Joins
Kristen Stewart, Woody Harrelson, and David Harbour were also tapped to host episodes of the new season.Eddie Murphy on SNL in 2015 . The 45th season of “Saturday Night Live” has announced its first round of hosts for the fall 2019 season. Kicking off the fall will be Woody Harrelson with performer Billie Eilish on September 28; Phoebe Waller-Bridge with Taylor Swift on October 5; David Harbour with Camila Cabello on October 12; Kristen Stewart on November 21; and Eddie Murphy on December 21.

It would be meta AF if they did a sketch about a film being made for Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood and had someone like Terry Crews or even Tracy Morgan play Mr. Robinson in the movie with Eddie as the real Mr Robinson trashing the whole thing. Eddie(whom I worked with)is my ALL TIME favorite comedian. This is brilliant promotion for his upcoming AMAZING performance in "Dolemite"(whom I attended an ULTRA private unedited screening of early this year). "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when  was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream." |

TMZ has reported that that my hero, legendary comedian Louie Anderson, will have a role in Coming to America 2. I hope Eddie brings many of our cherished comedians to his new film and that its a wonderful success. It looks like they are doing the most if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2 |

Really ? More so than, say, Richard Pryor, Dave Chapelle or Chris Rock? I´m not that familiar with Eddie´s older material but I remember Delirious and his old SNL sketches and kinda liked him back then, except for some of the homophobic jokes (that he later apologized for). What´s your favorite Eddie Murphy material or era? SNL ? The live shows ? His movies? Any recommendations? " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I like EVERYTHING Eddie did. Except for "SHowTime" with Robert Deniro(for personal reasons I won't get into on here)But Eddie COMPLETELY blew me away watching him upfront and personal in "Dreamgirls"(which he should have won an Oscar for). But HE WILL win one for sure for "Dolemite" his transformation in it is incredible. Plus the star studded cast was AMAZING in it!
Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle & Chris Rock are all funny and brilliant comedians. But Eddie still remains my favorite. I also like Jay Pharoah(whom almost ran over me in his go cart at Paramount studios) whose the next one to watch.
