The temperatures are brutal lately. I feel sorry for those who have to work outside.

I was in Budapest last month and the highs every day were around 35C and I thought that was already too hot.

Thankfully it's not "heatwave" type temperatures here in Dublin. I'm just not able for that kind of heat. It got up to around 25°C the other day and I couldn't handle it. I'm naturally very pale so I only have to look at the sun and I get burnt to a crisp. My husband was out the front garden cutting the grass in a tank top and I couldn't even look at him without almost feeling that sun burn my skin. Fuck that. Even now, I'm uncomfortably warm. I'd gladly shave my head bald if I thought it would make me any cooler.

hmmm i went to outdoor swimpark last two days, and twice i got cold in the shadow so sat in the sun the whole time, feeling 'comfortable' but surely not 'hot' or anything.

A few years ago during a heatwave, i went to the sauna at midday biggrin

Can't be hot enough for me; I do totally hate cold though. And cold for me is what is 'comfortable' for someone else...

Not sure exactly what temperature it got to here in NE UK, but it was bloody hot. We don't live far from the beach, but we decided it would be heaving so we stayed at home with the (pretty big) paddling pool and hose. To be honest the dog is suffering more than the humans, he's not doing well at all. Thunderstorms yesterday and back to normal blighty weather today (rain) though.

Speaking as an office worker, one day last week (can't remember which one now - Wednesday or Thursday?) was diabolically bad for heat.

Conditions have returned to being hospitable since then though, and in Newcastle today it's been cool, raining and very slippery, so go figure...

Be thankful you don't live in Dublin!

The heatwave moved on to Greenland:

Greenland Lost 12.5 Billion Tons of Ice in a Single Day

The amount of ice collectively lost last Wednesday and Thursday would be enough to cover Florida in almost five inches of water

I absolutely love it and feel more alive, albeit a bit tired. But I feel happier and healthier when it´s so hot and warm outside, especially when it is a bit humid.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
