Hello Fellow Prince fans, I am wondering how many of you are members of Amazon Prime? What are your pro's and con's about it? I will go first...
Pro's-2 day shipping, Amazon drive or whatever you call it let's you back up your photos and music
Cons-Amazon prime video is similar to Netflix but problem is I can never find a damn thing to watch.Very rarely that I see anything good on there mad

Prime offers the chance to try the major cable networks for 7-day free trials. mybe you'll find something to watch on Starz or Epix or HBO? good luck!

Amazon Prime Music Unlimited is one of the best things that has ever happened to me, personally. It hurts when they pull items though, for a long while they had the entire "Jazz In Paris" series. I listened to it regularly then one day my entire playlist was obsolete as the music was no longer available. So thats a downer. Its almost like smaller labels see someone is listening, that they get literal pennies for it, and pull their music due to that return. This has happened for several indie releases and dance music labels I prefer.

.

On the upside you can listen to basically any new release on day of release.

if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2

I can say I am a very satisfied customer of Amazon Prime despite some internal dissonance about supporting such a goliath of a company. I never understood addicative shopping until Amazon Prime! I do a lot of my personal shopping and holiday shopping around Cyber Monday. It was a revelation that it could be so enjoyable to get packiages so quick and have something waiting for me every day after work. It doesn't hurt that the Prime prices are often much lower than the regular Amazon prices. It is a harsh world when I stop my shopping and can't anticiapate a fun trip to the mailbox or front door. I am actually get a bit weepy thinking about this transition lol .

I have never been a member of a streaming service until Amazon Prime this year, so I don't have a comparison to other streaming services. I will say I have enjoyed it immensely, and it has more titles than anticipated including all the new ones and some relatively obscure ones.

The Amazon Prime tv service is not a major benefit for me. There are some movies and shows I have enjoyed on it, but I prefer Netflix and HBO.
