speaking of killing birds......

There's this demon possed bird that lives in the back of my house. Okay, I don't know what the hell has been going on here, but there's this keeps flying into the window... He wakes me every morning by doing this. At first I thought it was the tree or something hiting against the glass, but when I looks outside, I saw this robin who looked half out his mind, fly right into the window thinking it could get in. At first I didn't think nothing of it, I thought the bird would just get the point and give up, but it's been four dayz and the bird is still trying to fly through, it would stop for a few seconds then start all over again and I'm like WTF omfg, he's going to end up killing himself, by the way he keeps flying into the window. I never seen nothing like this... I guess the bird thinks it's more powerful then window or someting, whatever the reason is... I swear this bird is possed and it's really bugging me, any of you have any advice of how to get rid of a possed bird smile

i think what's happening is, he has a mate, the two of them are building a nest, and they have declared your backyard their 'territory'. (birds are VERY territorial).

and whenever this robin catches sight of his own reflection in the window, he interprets the reflection as another male robin, intruding on his territory and threatening his mate/nest. i know it sounds silly, but i've read that this is one reason why birds make that unexplained, nonsensical attack on windows big grin

ps: i've also read that hanging something shiny or fluttery in the window might help scare him away. like, tinfoil on a string or a streamer. these will catch his eye and maybe keep him from noticing his reflection?

birds don't always think things through. smile
