I have a weakness for CDs, DVDs and weird shirts. If it gives you joy, do it. Life's too short.

I plan to die broke (ie. spend all of my money while I'm alive), but I want to spend it on travel, not stuff.

i'm a GREAT shopper.. i don't need to muck around... i can very quickly find loads of stuff that i love... that said... i rarely splurge... as my music equipment keeps me pretty happy... i do like to buy my baby presents though (not trying to sound like mr wonderful... it's just the truth) so that often satisfies my spending urges

Why are all you good ones taken?smile

Before I had children I was very materialistic. Now, I can't remember the last time I brought a new outfit for myself that didn't come from Sears, Kmart or Target. But this past Christmas I went out on a limb and bought myself a CD player for the car. My little people are little pimps, but it's cool cause they're good kids and I love spending ALL my money on them. smile

As I am probably moving very soon I am doing my best to get rid off as muchg stuff as I can.

Yesterday; sorted about seven huge shopping bags with old clothes. All my free Therapy and Gay Dad t-shirts.

And even a Kronk sweater. Never thought it would come to that.

I buy things I don't need all the time. If I feel down I go shopping! I know I shouldn't but sometimes you know it hits the spot!

I think It's called retail therapy..big grin I bought a silver necklace today. I don't know if I will ever wear it but it is nice to look at!

lol

Yep... I tend to do that, well similar anyway... if someone can't talk me out of it, and then there it sits and I usually DO want it, it's just that I don't do anything with it because they made me feel guilty for buying it.

"Heather? Do you REALLY NEED ANOTHER purse?"

"No, but... I mean, look at what it has here.. look at ALL OF THIS STUFF IT HAS!"

"But, Heather, you have others like it, you don't need it."

"No, I DON'T have another like it. This one is different in SO MANY ways!"

lol

lol
THAT way of thinking is exactly why I have 17 pairs of black shoes smile

Yes, yes... Life is way to short to worry about what you can and cannot have.

Enjoy, and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow...

I used 2 feel this way! until my husband & I parted. NOW, i realize i want to make other things in my life my priority, i.e. family, friends, love, helping ppl, my pets. those are lifes real reasons 2 live. material things fill an empty void in oneself, & only 4 awhile...where theres feeling theres life, & vice versa. material things leave one empty, the soul needs nourishment, as does the heart, mind, and body. its nice to have "stuff". but "stuff" gets lonely, and becomes clutter & baggage, & rummage sales...besides, i have enough stuff to last me the rest of my life. ( ha, ha )
May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love. hug kisses
