Same here. I've learned a lot from the mistakes I've made (and there have been plenty)! I wouldn't be where I am today without them. Of course, I kinda wish I'd gone back to school earlier. But damn! I've had some crazy wild experiences. And at the end of the day, a good life. I think it took all that craziness in my late teens/early 20's to settle down now and want more. |

I would have saved money when I got out of school instead of spending it all. My mom told me to and did I listen? No. I would have enjoyed certain instances in my life more, instead of living for the moment and not really taking the time to appreciate what was going on. DAMN, AzureStar.. you essentially just saved me from having to think of a response to this thread.. unbelievable. Thanks (I think..) Anytime!

You should have lived my brother's life then! With the exception of the Tyson thing and the drill instructor deal. . [This message was edited Tue Apr 22 18:30:25 PDT 2003 by AzureStar]

I would like to go back in time and go to school for a nursing degree. I could start now, but I'd basically have to start over, and I can't stomach the idea of that much more school right now.

Why is it that people change after they've "got you"? This is the reason why I've never remarried. My philosophy now is why destroy a perfectly good relationship with marriage. Or am I missing something here?

Or am I missing something here? That's exactly how i feel. I think people put their best foot forward when they feel lonely(only natural). Once they get comfortable the let themselves go cause they know they have you waiting. You would be amazed at how many people say He/she lied to me. My motto is what is took to get your baby hooked, is what it will take to keep them. I try to be myself from the start. Not overspend and don't give more time or attention than i know i can give on a regular basis. And woman since my marriage can tell you i'm very upfront and honest.

one thing would not fix all the combination of things that go along with it. I have thoughts on the subject, but I am not wise enough to choose. I can, however, be more aware of future progress, and choices.

Nothing. My life made me who I am today. If I take one thing away, I myself would change along with that.
Eventhough there are some things I prefer I hadn't done, people I wish I never met, I am still grateful for the lessons they provided me with to become who I am today. So no... I wouldn't wanna change a thing.
