Actually pretty cool seeing Linda Hamilton back in the role with authenticity, but tonally it looks and feels like Genisys and could possibly be more forgettable. I'm sure they'll saturate the marketing with the woke terminator angle but there is nothing striking about the T-nonbinary and the Patriarchy-1000 looks lame, hopefully these setpieces they keep talking up meet the hype. Seems a lot of people are seeing the same problem with the trailer. With release only 5 months away I doubt they can do much to fix the special effects. It is what it is. Hopefully the story and acting is great, the editing of the clips don’t offer much faith. | |
