Child Loss

Other than "Comback", are there any songs where Prince refers the loss of their son (and purhaps the folowing misscaridge)? it is a beautiful spiritual take on loss.

I don't believe it is something he ever discussed publicly.

I am asking as my wife and I had a still bourn daughter in September and I have recently stated councilling (to help me though this and on going problems with my health amongst other things) with a very spiritual lady who has awoken an interest in the spirit with me and made me aware of how spiritual Prince's lyrics could be.

Thank you.

Yes it is. From princevault

The song is speculated to have been written about the death of Prince and Mayte's child in late 1996, but this has not been confirmed.

Except Until U're In My Arms Again, none that I know of. This would be the topic Prince has been the most private of his entire life. His memoir, had he finished it, would have been fascinating if onbly on that topic. IDK what Mayte wrote about it as I haven't read her book (yet).

.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss sad hug Even though I haven't experienced this particular type of challenge you 2 are going thru, P's lyrics are indeed very spiritual and brought me much comfort and wisdom and strength for 30 years. I hope you can find some relief in his works the way I have smile
