Nice. I'm going to Japan for my honeymoon this summer. Next month, in fact. These pictures make it look like Blade Runner or something.

Are these photographs or hyperrealistic paintings?

If you´re into this kind of stuff ( Japanese streets, lights, lots of rain and umbrellas) go and check out British artist Dan Kitchener´s work on Facebook. He is a British graffiti artist who does amazing paintings tha look very similar to what you posted here. And he paints very, very fast. It´s called speedpainting.

Dan (artist name DANK) travels a lot and has painted in many places such as Japan, Hong Kong, London etc. He is also a marathon runner and a very nice and friendly guy. You can buy some of his art at his website.

Check out his FB page and you´ll be amazed of what he´s capable of.

Great artist.

Love the look of the pix, but I guess my definition of magic doesn't include streets and sidewalks that are overcrowded with people and vehicles. Just makes me want to turn around and go home, really.
