Seems she's being setup to be a part of the new younger Avengers Watch the movie again. She's the same age. No time has passed for the people who died in the snap. The movie explains all of this. I don't know what is so hard to understand about that.
All of the people who were dusted off when Thanos made the snap returned to their past selves just before the snap when Hulk snapped them back to life. The reason 2018 Loki, Heimdall, Vision, 2018 Gamora, and Black Widow did not return when Hulk made the snap back was because they were killed physically and not cosmically by Thanos. And when Peter Quill went to kiss 2014 Gamora, remember that the 2014 version of Gamora hated Quill and wanted to kick the crap out of him.
Yeah, i just got tripped up by the girl. I got the rest. I wasn't able to see it again this weekend. Quill will win Gamora over again. I'm behind on SHIELD where the hell was Coulson? This is where he started. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Exactly. And speaking of Gamora, we now have some idea what the next Guardians movie is about. The Gamora that Peter Quill knew is dead and gone but 2014 Gamora is still alive and in 2023 along with the rest of the Guardians. Therefore, I'd bet that the plot of Vol 3 will revolve around Quill tracking down Gamora, who went missing at the end of Endgame. Plus, it looks like Thor might be in Vol 3 too. I'm all for that Asgardians Of The Galaxy movie. |

This is where he started. Are you sure you want to know? I don't want to ruin Agents of Shield for you but there's a very valid reason why Coulson isn't there. What I really want to know is where was Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. I mean, I know Marvel aren't allowed to use them in movies until next year due to their deal with Netflix but it would have been nice had they worked out some kind of deal for a cameo in Endgame. After all, they are established heroes in the MCU continuity. Oh well, maybe next time. |

That's the one thing I was let down by. That scene where all the heroes gather, they really needed the Defenders and Punisher in there, even if it is was just a quick shot ... why gather all the heroes and leave them out? The shows all acknowledged the existence of the Avengers movie world so why not return the favour.
Imagine how exicting it would have been if Deadpool, Wolverine, Xavier and Magneto had popped through one of those Dr. Strange portals. Think I would have lost it at that point

Unfortunately Marvel Films/Disney just isn't allowed to use those characters for a while due to an agreement with Netflix. It would have been cool though. But at least we got Howard The Duck in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo. Endgame seems to just be about paying homage to the movies of the MCU and aside from Jarvis, no other TV characters were there. I would have loved it if Quake from Agents Of Shield showed up though. |

Well, he's in Captain Marvel but that's a prequel. I suppose, without spoiling Agents Of Shield for you, at least there's a valid reason within the continuity of the MCU for him not showing up in more movies. I mean, had he shown up in pretty much any of the movies post Avengers (2012), it wouldn't have made sense for the show. |

A plaque with his name on it. One of them looking at a picture of him. Anything. He's one of the reasons they got together, he bugged the heck out of Tony Stark. Makes you wonder. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Yeah but she's the only one who'd be any help in that final battle. What's Mack going to do, swing his shotgun axe at them? Again, no spoilers for AOS but Coulson showing up with make no sense whatsoever either. |

I guess his whole existence got completely wiped out the universe because that would be the only way not giving a nod to him for the audience sake would make an ounce of sense. Which then starts sounding like behind the scenes issues got tangled up in it which is what I'm wondering about. I mean its all fiction they could've if they wanted to they're not that anal about what fits where. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

All Okoye and the other Wakanda warriors have are their hand weapons and their natural strength and wits ... if they can do it, Mack and his shotgun axe definitely can.
And it was an all-hands-to-the-pump moment ... regardless of powers, people would want to get involved to do what they can.
I'm up to date with AOS so totally get why he wasn't involved. Nothing is impossible in the Marvel universe though so it would have been do-able somehow if the writers wanted it. It they can reverse the snap, they could have got AOS in to the battle.

I thought this movie was so lame, so diassapointing.
Why going the back to the future-way? Coudln't they think out something cleverer? And... they guys solving time-travel in what was about 2 minutes of film is beyond absurd. It was the Aquaman of Marvel. Rubbish.
My biggest question: did Cpt Marvel get killed or not? |

We don't even know if Mack will still be alive in 2023. Perhaps the writers of Endgame didn't want to make the assumption that he will be. There's at least 2 more seasons of Shield to go. Including any characters from the show in Endgame may cause issues with future seasons of the show. From a creative standpoint, it's probably best to not include them. Daredevil is probably the only character who would have made sense. But like I said, even if Marvel wanted to include him, they couldn't. |

I guess that makes sense actually ... to have them in Endgame would p*ss all over AOS remainining seasons because you'd know that the characters survive whatever tribulations come their way because they feature in Endgame.

Spoiler alert:
Except the snap didn't kill them. It puts them in the stone. That is why it can be undone.
My only plot oopsie was why did a certain character destroy a ship in the end of the movie and not Thor? That's just done to give the story a longer push (Lazy writing plot) and an entrance for another character. That's my 2 cents. Love the movie btw. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment |

I was pretty impressed with the film. Marvel has done a good job of stretching, bit by bit, the viewer's suspension of disbelief over 20 some-odd films. And they make some daring moves that pay off...like Thor and Hulk after the 5 year jump.
.
My only gripe is the soul stone - while all the other stones have a place and time in the universe, the soul stone is repeatedly purchased. Although I like the idea of giving up a life to get a soul stone on borrow, the idea of returning it raises a lot of questions that get glossed over, and imply a whole other story (since Rogers and the Red Skrull would come back into contact...?)

Way too much time was spent on the time-travel element, which seemed to me to be a convenient vehicle for the characters to tie up loose ends left from 11 years worth of films. I would have much preferred that time was spent on the final battle, which was what we'd always wanted to see and, though far too brief, delivered.
