No, other than between films of a double feature ... but that's extremely rare these days.

3 hours is not that uncommon. Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, Dances with Wolves, King Kong, etc.

Not as common now as the 80's and 90's though.

For first run movies, the theaters would be losing money if they had intermissions because they'd have to schedule one less movie each day to fit them in.

If you go before the movie starts, then you should be alright.

The plot hole you refer to is easily explained. If we assume that everyone there was also snapped. Or at least, all his friends who have already signed up for the next movie.

that's not a plot hole at all, if i understand what you're saying. basically four characters were dusted & are now the same age. the odds of those four being dusted is 1/16 - stats class was a good length of time ago for me, but i believe that's correct. not all that unlikely.

I'm all for female role models. I never had any, in movies or real life. When I was my daughter's age my role models were Michael Keaton's Batman, Christopher Reeve's Superman and Robocop. I'm glad my daughter looks up to characters like Captain Marvel. What I found patronising about that particular scene in Endgame was how heavy handed it was. It was also really out of place. The best way of going about putting women on par with men in these movies is to not draw attention to their inclusion. Just seen the movie again, this time with my daughter and a packed cinema. First things first, I think the movie is even better the second time around. The first time, I was a little taken aback by some of the more surprising scenes. Now that I knew what was coming, I was able to just sit back and enjoy it. Last time I saw it the cinema was virtually empty, save for maybe 15-20 people. This time, every seat was sold out and thankfully, everyone was on their best behaviour. No talking during the movie or anything. Well, almost no talking. Several times during it I could hear my daughter commenting on things under her breath. Keep in mind, she's 7 years old. And at that scene at the very beginning when a certain character's family do what they do, I could hear my daughter say "Jesus" as she squeezed my hand. In fact, some of her reactions throughout the movie were priceless. After more time has passed and we're able to discuss the movie in more detail without fear of ruining it for people who haven't seen it yet, I'll tell you more of her comments. As I said, some of the things she was coming out with were hysterical. And the best part was that she didn't realise I could hear her. A few things I noticed about the cinema crowd. Several people were audibly crying at various parts of the movie. Especially at one particular part. And not the part you'd think. The scene that got most people was the very last one. The very last shot, in fact. It even had me going and I'd seen it already. Also, as I predicted, it seems that several cameos completely went over most people's heads. A certain butler, in particular drew absolutely zero reaction. Overall, this second viewing has just solidified my opinion that this is the best superhero movie ever made. And, as a girl who grew up watching the real Superman and Batman movies, that's not an easy thing to admit. But it's true. The movie is a miracle. They somehow wrapped up 22 movies worth of storylines, not to mention a few TV series' storylines, and still managed to pack hundreds of nods to those movies and shows, all while making sure that no character feels short changed (although my daughter wanted more Captain Marvel) and setting up the future of the MCU very nicely. We know who will feature in the next Avengers movies, we know who won't. We know exactly where The Guardians of the Galaxy are starting out from in Vol 3. We know who'll be joining them. And the fact that we got The Perfect Ending to each and every character is, as I said, an absolute miracle.

I got all of the cameos apart from one, which I had to look up when we got home ...

The tall teen lad standing on his own at the funeral scene. Apparently that's the lad at the farm Tony met in Iron Man 3 who helped him out, now grown up. Very cool cameo!
