The burning question. Was Euron paying full attention while Tyrion was talking to Cersei? Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Guess the outcome of GOT. Spolier alert possible. Arya goes to kings landing to kill cersie. Dragon Queen decides to do what ever to take the throne including destroying most of the city and the people with in it. John, doesn't want to do it. So, Dragon Queen has to a)kill him 2)try to remove him as head of the army/battle. Instead Arya kills the power mad Dragon Queen. Jayme ends up killing his sister Cersie. I'm not certain if anyone sits on the throne-Right now, it seems a reluctant John Snow. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

That was great. Possibly my favourite episode of Game Of Thrones so far. Crazy bitch on her dragon just slaughtered everyone in sight. Next week's final episode will end one of two ways. She'll either roast Jon Snow alive or he'll kill her. I'd personally love it if Jon killed her in the same way he was killed by the Nights Watch. Give everyone a go. Arya, Tyrion, Davos etc. Although, have Arya and Khaleesi ever been on screen together? Could the world handle THAT much eyebrow??

I had to get up and walk away. Ive gotten emotionally caught up in the book's version of what's happening to the "common" people with all the warring going on and its ugly. I connected too much. Now this, I needed a breather. Poor people just trying to live. Geesh whenever RR gets back to it this part is going to be horrific. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Really? What made it so great for you? Visually it was absolutely stunning but the storytelling just isn't there anymore, IMO... The final scene with Arya looked fantastic, though. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

A number of things. Firstly, as you say, visually it was spectacular. Ever since those dragons hatched I've been wanting them to tear shit up. It's all well and good seeing them do their thing in the open countryside or over the sea. But what I really wanted was to see them go to Westeros and burn it to the ground. When we lost two dragons I feared it would never happen. But thankfully, last night, it did. The fight between The Hound and The Mountain. Again, spectacular. We know they've had a rather volatile relationship and everything came out in that fight. It was violent, brutal and utterly brilliant. Jamie Lannister trying to get back to Cersei. We pretty much ALL hate Cersei. She's been an absolute cunt for the entire run of the show so nobody is going to shed a tear for her. But over the last few seasons, Jamie has become a more sympathetic character. He's become as close to "a good guy" as you can get in Game Of Thrones. But he still loves Cersei. He knows it's wrong and he doesn't care. And we cheer him on in his fight against that guy on the beach (I can't remember his name) in a way we wouldn't have done a few years ago. His death is like a double-edged relief. We're happy he fulfilled his mission of reuniting with his love but we're also glad that that bitch got what she deserved. That whole thing with Arya was great. Trying and failing to help those people will only fuel her desire to take down the Mad Queen. And speaking of the Mad Queen, her descent into madness has been hinted at for a long time. She's always been quick to punish those who disagree. And the last two seasons has seen her fall further and further into that madness. Jon Snow was the last hope of keeping her grounded but in the end, her own insecurities won out. And it shouldn't come as a surprise. Her family has a long history of mental illness and she hasn't exactly had a good life up to this point. In the last few episodes alone her father-figure died protecting her, the closest thing she had to a friend was murdered right in front of her, she found out that she doesn't have a legitimate claim to the Iron Throne as she always thought she had and her "loyal" advisors have been plotting behind her back. I'd say "death by dragon" was the only realistic outcome. Going back to Jamie, we also got a nice moment amidst all that chaos between him and his brother. It was only a small part of the episode but it was nice for them to be able to say goodbye to each other. There were a few other things as well, Arya thanking The Hound, the tension as Tyrion waited for the Bells to ring and the horror when he realised that he'd backed the wrong Monarch, Varys getting roasted and taking it like a man, Jon Snow also realising now that "his Queen" is a crazy bitch who must be stopped. Like I said, I really enjoyed it. The only part that didn't endear itself to me was when the soldier tried to rape that woman. The whole city is burning down and his first thought is "I need to rape someone". It was kind of laughable (well, I laughed, at least) and I know the whole point of it was to show how heroic Jon Snow is but we could have done without it. But overall, it was my favourite episode of the show so far. Hopefully the finale will be better again. Will Jon Snow rebel against The Mad Queen? And if so, how does he defeat a dragon? My only hope is that before Khaleesi dies, she'll have her dragon burn Sansa to death. That would just about make it the perfect ending for me.

How do you think it will end? I guess Daenerys dies, Jon's supposed to be on the throne, doesn't want it, gives the power to the people, lesson is that power corrupts, democracy is better. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

I guess Daenerys dies, Jon's supposed to be on the throne, doesn't want it, gives the power to the people, lesson is that power corrupts, democracy is better. Up until the beginning of this season I thought it would either end with the Night King or Cersei on the throne. But obviously neither of those things will happen. At this stage I'm pretty sure that Jon Snow will kill Daenerys. The only question is, what about her dragon? How do they deal with that? I can't see them killing it so maybe it betrays her and sides with Jon. Or perhaps Bran possesses it and uses it to kill Daenerys after she kills Jon Snow. It's hard to say. I do think it will come down to a Stark being the new King/Queen. It won't be Arya because that wouldn't make sense. It could be Bran but again, it wouldn't make much sense unless they emphasise that his abilities makes him a logical choice for King. Assuming Jon Snow doesn't die, I guess it could be him. But he'll probably give it to Sansa. Which I'd be very disappointed with but at least people could say that he truly "knows nothing". Sansa, as mentioned a few episodes ago, could easily end up being just as bad as Cersei. And I suppose that would be a fitting ending. Despite Daenerys trying to "break the wheel", it could be that they are all just spokes on a wheel after all.

To throw my 2 cents in. Nobody gets the Iron throne, there isn't one to have anymore. Everything goes back to all the kingdoms having their own ruler. Time keeps on slipping into the future...
