Magic got fired......I mean stepped down Looks like Jeanie Buss might be keeping Luke.
Now the Lakers are stuck with Pelinka.
Yikes. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent. |

I can't imagine this was done without LeBron's approval, or at least knowledge/lack of disagreement.
Magic knows how this goes. He got his first coach fired. |

What a mess of a head office/year. "Climb in my fur." |

This is what happens when a player has too much power, and when the coach along with management cater to said player. "Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. Go down to their level, that's the only way they'll understand. You have to handle things yourself." |

He's my favorite athlete of all time. He had prior no experience in the front office.
He helped land the best player in the world in 2018, when the Lakers had not previously signed a superstar free agent since Shaq.
He also landed a draft steal in Kuzma and created cap space for the team to sign another free agent. He also apparently took hits for tampering that weren't his fault, but Pelinka's.
But he took Lonzo when Tatum and Fox were available, he took chances on players who couldn't shoot, and he helped turn the AD negotiations into a debacle that derailed the season.
It's a sad state of affairs for Laker Nation, but honestly, he left the Lakers in a better condition than when he came. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Yikes.
LeBron and Luke cannot co-exist. They need to let one of them go.
But if James goes, everybody needs to go and they need to rebuild from bottom up.
Jeannie, who I think highly of, has got to find competent FO leaders she won't be personally conflicted with. She may also need to keep some of the "Laker Family" voices out of her ear.
If I were in Jeannie's shoes I'd be begging Jerry West to return, but that bridge has been burned.
