Would you still love your fav celeb if you discovered that they were just a prefabricated image? If all you read or saw was just a performance. Would still love them?

Speaking of image, has anyone seen the pic of Catherine Zeta Jones sunbathing pregnant and smoking a cig? Anybody got a link? Her lawyers have been threatening sites to take it down.

when it comes to music and musicians, i don't love their art because of their image, or what they are or aren't in their personal lives. i either like what what they do or i don't. from everything i've read about miles davis, he was an absolute prima donna, was very difficult to deal with, and sometimes a complete asshole, but i want everything he played on period, because it moves me, and i love it.

I think creating an image can be an art unto itself. Look at Britney. That girl is all style, no substance. But it works. In a way.
