I got fired today I got fired from my job today.
I'm a bit ambivalent about it. I wasn't terribly happy or inspired by my position, so I know I didn't put in 100%, and this sort of forces me toward other goals. Still, I did meet what they articulated they wanted, and getting canned just sucks in any context. Anyway, I need some positive org vibes right now -- so love me, love me please. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

only positive i can add is this - at the end of 1998 I kinda got "fired" also ... felt the same way as u just said ... i saw it coming .. and if i wasnt fired , i was almost ready to leave ...
now - a couple of yrs later ... i can say it was the best thing for me ... i got some of my "goals" together ... set out to accomplish it ... and i am well on my way ... I am not a millionaire yet ( on of my ... kinda goals ... he he ) but ... i will get there ... or at least to a point where i can be financially happy ... good luck ... and keep your head up ... | |

sometimes an old door has to close in order for a new one to open...I lost my job almost a year ago because I was adamant about going to the Celebration...needless to say, it was the best thing that could've happened to me--I had the time of my life and I found a better job 3 months later The message you're about to hear is not meant for transmission

Treat the next week as a holiday, don't just rush into another bad job to pay the bills. Have a rest first (even before looking for another position), your mind will be clearer! | |
