I haven't had very many good days lately, but something great happened today! We adopted this little puppy from the pound, but we won't get her for 2 weeks because of her young age. I want to pick out a name for her that is Princely. So far I've come up with Paisley for the 1st name and Park for the middle name. OR Paisley Princez (princess), OR Paisley Reign. Thinking maybe of a play on the Paisley name to Paizley or something like that.
I don't know what kind of dog she is, her momma was dumped on the side of the road and was rescued and it turned out she was pregnant. The momma looks like a wired hair terrier.
Can anyone think of any other good names?
Clearly, that's one Irresistible Bitch. |

Just be glad it's not a cat you have. I've got about a million inappropriate names for cats... |

A couple weeks ago i made contact with this person who i was absolutely in love with(as a teenager) and hadn't seen or heard from in about 35 years...Well she just(about 3 hours ago) messaged me(again) on Facebook.
Methinks love(hell, i'd settle for just sex) is in the air.
Just kidding about the love thing. She's married.

Thanks, Rodeo and Joey!
More good news for today: My daughter, Cara, turns 15 years old today!
The bad side of that: Whoever said raising daughters was easy, never met my daughter! When she goes to take her driving test, if she has to come to a stop at a STOP sign and she doesn't want to, she'll argue with the STOP sign about how that isn't fair, nor just. |

My good news is that I've been approved to adopt a 2 year old Blue Heeler from a stray rescue. My best buddy passed away recently and the apartment has been soooo quiet. if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2 |

Fate has named her Spot, I am hoping to rebrand her as Dot. She had a litter in the past year, everyone calls her Mama at the rescue so that might stick too. Mama Dot. Time will tell! Good luck to you!
.
My dearly departed, eternally beloved Rain was a "Chow Mix" with a purple tongue. if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2 |

A purple tongue? That's pretty cool. We never stop missing our other furbabies do we?
Good luck with yours too!

Hmmm...I wonder. lol When she was 1 1/2 and going to daycare, I was picking her up one day and one of the daycare teachers said, "Ms. Brenda, watch this." She turned to my daughter and said, "Cara, your mom is here. You need to pick up your toys and put them away." My 1 1/2 year old daughter, turned to look at the teacher, put her hands on her hips, and rolled her eyes. The teacher is dying laughing, and I'm standing there thinking. "OMG, what am I in for?" She's amazing, she is, and I've worked with adolescent girls before, but I have never met another one quite like my daughter. If she were a lawyer, the judge, the jury, and even the defendent would give in and they all would admit to being guilty just to get her to stop.
Maybe I should introduce her to Trump!
