NOT another lonely Christmas... OK, here's the deal. Will have already celebrated quite a bit of the holiday by the 25th, and it looks like the government is going to shut down & eye won't have to be at my part-time job, so... If any of you all are feeling down, and just would like someone to text and all, I will probably be around. (Except for the night we go see Bohemian Rapsody.)
Does not have to be about our little Yoda, all topics are open for discussion. What are some of my favorites? Prince (duh), rock music from the 70's on, horses (yeah, the real ones with 4 legs), biology , fixer-upper stuff & crafts, family & kids, writing, & how to hold on to your happy. This last topic is the tough one, especially during this time of year.
This is a crazy post, but there might be someone that needs it. Take care of yourselves out there & try to keep in mind that most portions of our world are definately not purple!!

Seahorsie, you are so kind! I try to always remember that the holidays are a difficult time for a lot of people. I make sure to be extra kind and offer a hand or give a smile to everyone because you never know what they are going through. I work at the dept.of social services and held the door today for a young mom who had her hands full with donated Christmas items and she was so appreciative and wished me happy holidays and it just broke my heart. She doesn't get to choose her gifts for her family, they are donated. People get so much anxiety over getting gifts not realizing the exact thing they are stressing about is another person's dream. Anyhoo... you are sweet to offer conversation... that's more of a gift than the wrapped ones! Merry Christmas!! | |
