3) Decorate a New Year's TreeWho says the fun has to end after Christmas? The tradition of the New Year's tree goes all the way back to the 1600s, and you can easily transition your tannenbaum to suit the celebrations.

There are a lot of people who keep trees up into mid January. I know a lot of celebrate the feast of the 3 Kings or 7 fishes.
There are a few people in my neighborhood who keep a tree up with lights probably to help with getting through winter. One house has a large tree on the 2nd floor in a middle window and they add red or pink lights by Valentines Day/February and Green/March -St Patricks Day
