Hanukkah decor (blue), and Christmas decor (tree, no blue) is how I always remember those holidays. That's how I put it together when I saw your tree. smile

60s... hmmm I have been delving into the astetics of the 60s vibe for a while. But didn't live it and was more into 50s and 70s than 60.
.
60s is interesting because a good part of the early 60s feels like the 70s and the latter part of the 60s was like the 70s

.

I don't know why I get a vibe about that picture, almost like I'm peering into my parents time or something

.

.

.

I really did the metallic trees
The pink is yours?
Do you have decorations from your parents tree left over?

I love the Christmas/winter holiday season. I love the music and the festive vibes and the decorations. I will be minimizing my gift-giving and giving cash as much as possible. I am on a mission to drastically reduce my consumption of plastic and my resist plastic mentality will apply during the holiday season as much as any other time of year.

same here, except for my mom and my older brother, who still have that 'wonder' about Christmas

and I see so many things 'for myself' that I never see all year round lol

But for me it is increasingly about the 'magic' and comfort that I have always continued since I was a kid. Good foods and sweets, movies/cartoons, music, the decorations, having small gatherings, board games etc
