I was coming in here to say, I thought they went bust a long time ago, but ah I see. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

guess the only "new" DeLoreans we'll be getting now will have to have a time travel feature ~everything is a prince reference~

Even if you had a flux capacitor you'd still have trouble getting the car to the requisite 88mph. And in real life those cars couldn't get to 88mph if you pushed one off a cliff.

Patton Oswalt. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Nice DMC incident.
Back To The Future movies: long advertisements for Pepsi, Nike, DMC and other crimes against humanity. Nike and Pepsi should be broke in a conscious world.
The real comedy comes out when you see the celebrities that endorsed such garbage. Nothing changes... [Edited 10/22/18 2:39am]

Depends on the cliff. It would take the average human about 5 seconds of freefall to reach the requisite speed. I don't know the exact mass of a DeLorean but they weren't exactly the lightest of vehicles and definitely some orders of magnitude more massive than the average human, so it would take considerably less time. So with a high enough cliff it would be doable. You'd want to be damn sure of your flux capacitor though, otherwise you're paste, in a shiny (broken) metal box. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

nope. the mass is irrelevant to the speed of falling Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

It's not irrelevant if you factor in wind resistance, which clearly I was (even though I didn't mention it). [Edited 10/23/18 5:27am] Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.
