This was discussed on one of my local radio stations and the DJ commented that all the conspiracy theorists are all over it. No surprise to see it on the org neutral

1. Given the shape of Cali, not too many directions for fire to go in and still be in Cali.

2. Cali has always had massive fires, the only reason it's a big deal now is because neighborhoods are being built in those areas creating a dynamic that makes them worse.

3. Cali is a huge state those distances that don't line up are a pretty large difference.

It will be interesting when they actually build it where it ends up.

The fire isn't 100% contained and closeness counts on a fire that u simply can't control.

It isn't 1 fire. And according to your chart there's a massive one here in SD I'm completely unaware of, this city's too small for that to happen. We've had 2 horrible fires in the 2000s yet I think we're not even considered for the train until decades after its built. There was one in Mexico along the same trajectory where there will be no super train built.

Thanks for this though it wasn’t even necessary. It’s clear from just looking at the two pics side by side that they don’t correlate.

This is a great case study for the insanity that grips the PCT community.

Plus, why would the state need to start fires to burn people out to install a rail system when all the state has to do is declare eminent domain to acquire the property... Not to mention that these fires cost the state millions of dollars in damages...

What's with the Cali conspiracies? I've read a few in the past couple of weeks. Or has that always been a thing?

Not that I recall... razz lol California has always had a history of wildfires... When I first visited California in 1980 with my Dad and Grandmother (we came out to see her brother she hadn't seen in 30 years!) I remember driving out of the mountains into the San Joaquin valley and the entire sky was covered in smoke from wildfires no matter how far North we drove. Only now the wildfires are getting more severe and destructive due to climate changes...and probably because population growth has extended into areas not so populated in prior decades...

If you want to try to understand the mindset, you have to suspend common sense, reason, logic and critical thinking. I’ve tried but rationality always seeps in.

Have the time-travelling shapeshifters shown up yet? 'Cause it's not a full-blown Prince.org conspiracy until the time-travelling shapeshifters show up.

Or, I guess, Valiant Thor would be OK.
