What is something you would go back and tell your younger self? I'm not talking time machines or some crazy shit, let's say it was a video on VHS. For the younger people, that was before dvds...

Do no less than the equivalent to 30 minutes of strenous walking everyday. Do exactly everything they tell you to do about taking care of your teeth, everything. Do that with consistancy and the rest you'll figure out just fine. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Not to let all those evil girls in middle school get to me.

I would go back and tell myself as I was starting college, "Almost no decision you make at this stage of your life is permanent. You can change your major, change your career, change your friends, get out of a not-so-great relationship - and it will all be okay. Scary, yes - but you will come through it stronger and smarter." We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

In a general sense? It would be something like "The only things you're going to regret are the things you don't do".

In general, I would tell myself to "ignore everyone that ever discourages you from doing what you want to do in life, no matter what". Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I definetly empathize. I was different from the other girls, and really shy and nice, too nice actually, so they just made my life hell. Eventually my mom went and yelled at the principle, but that didn't really make anything better. [Edited 9/25/18 13:39pm]

1. Stop being afraid. Give yourself a chance & just go for it. 2. You don’t have to be nice to Everyone. 3. Prince in Vegas? Just go, go see him. Don’t be THAT strict w your budget.

Find a way to get paid for doing something you'd be doing through choice anyway. 1. Don't ask for a 32x for christmas, it's gonna 90% suck 2. get out more often, 3. Don't take the benadryl your doctor prescribed you, THAT'S WHY YOU'RE FALLING ASLEEP IN SCHOOL! 4. Take advantage of the "girl" time you've got with A., F, E. especially F... wow.. what a stroke of luck! 5. Forget the kitten thing, just knock a few around with S 6. Don't let the girl''s rudeness make you angry. Don't say anything in haste. See if you two will work out.
I'd also tell myself to quit the first band earlier. It's not going anywhere ♫"Trollin, Trolling! We could have fun just trollin'!"♫

Wait longer before having sex. Stay away from boys until I was at least 18! Get a better education so I could've made over 6 figures. Travel more when I was younger. Be much more adventurous

Depends on how young. If I could talk to my 12 year old self, I ´d probably tell myself to learn at least one instrument, maybe guitar, or even more instruments, maybe guitar, bass and keyboards and drum computers. I know many kids and teenagers and they teach themselves with Youtube tutorials and by practicing very often. If I could talk to my 20 year old self, I´d probably tell myself to buy Microsoft, Apple and Crocs and Nike stock, or Pfizer stock before 1998. And of course real estate. And I´d tell myself to avoid certain people and relationships, and go to more Prince concerts. I´ve seen him in concert more than 20 times but I wish I could´ve seen him more often. . I´d also tell myself to take better care of myself. I´m healthy and grateful but still.....I wish I had had the health info I have now when I was younger. I´ve always been into healthy eating and working out from an early age on but the things I know now would´ve helped me a lot when I was younger. .

a million things, a million, but most of them worked out the same way for the most part, only with a lot of wasted time. I wish I hadn't gone to college, wish I'd never approached any women, never made close friends. but sometimes it's not just hindsight, it's that the pressures around us make us do those things. It's tough to cut yourself off from needs and if you have to rely on corrupt, which this whole system is, you're gonna get fucked. I did the best I could. My 70 year old stepdad worked at a place for over 30 years and they were trying to fire him, they didn't, he retired before they could, that will never happen to me, never. Still, the bastards got their little piece, a lot of them.

I don't really have any regrets so I wouldn't advise my younger self to do anything different. I would probably just want to prepare her for some of the things that are going to happen in her future. There was one particular thing that happened to me which I've never mentioned on the org and it very nearly ended me. I'd try to prepare my younger self for that in the hope that it wouldn't impact her the way it impacted me. [Edited 9/27/18 14:21pm]
