Well your my Marvel expert. Thoughts on the movie? Some critics say it's the worse Marvel movie made. |

I haven't seen it yet but the trailers don't fill me with confidence. Having said that, it's unfair to judge a movie on just the trailers alone so I need to see it before making up my mind about it. My little girl wants to see it so we'll probably go today. Have you seen it yet? What did you think? |

I haven't seen it yet myself, but people need to remember that this character isn't part of the MCU. Sony owns the rights to this character as well as Spider-Man and Sinister Six. While Disney managed to lease Spider-Man from Sony to get him into the MCU, they didn't get the other characters, and the same situation is happening with FOX (for now) with the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, and Deadpool. Now FOX is selling its entertainment studios to Disney, so once that deal becomes final the X-Men and Fantastic Four will finally become part of the MCU, but don't expect any MCU X-Men movies until at leat 2021 at the earliest. |

That's right, not being part of the MCU, it's one of those "other" Marvel films so saying this is the "worst Marvel movie made" means its quality is below all the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Punisher and Howard The Duck movies and I find that very hard to believe.

Yeah they were all Turkeys though never seen Howard the Duck (only clips, didn't look good). I kinda liked the first Ghost Rider, thought Nick Cage matched Johnny Blaze (AND NOT SUPERMAN) |

Do not ever watch "Howard the Duck".
I've walked out of three movies in my life:
-Born on the Fourth of July
-Dunkirk
-Howard the Duck

Don't think I ever walked out of a movie, but I really wanted to for the Rob Zombie Halloween movies. God those sucked big time |

if you were a fan of the 90s spiderman cartoon and embraced that version of Venom,
You will enjoy the movie. The film also feels like those 90s action movies. When studios got over ambitious with CGI to compensate for proper stunt work and story.
But if you are a fan of the Todd Mcfarlane comic series. you will be dissapointed.
This is not the comic venom, but thats okay. We have many versions of spiderman.
Its a good second effort, maybe the next time they will nail it.

I only liked Tom Hardy's performance in the movie, but that guy is always good.
The movie on a whole wasn't that great but I liked it better than all the other non-Disney Marvel movies and Infinity War, Iron man 2 and 3 and all those horrible Thor movies. I rank it equal to Ant-Man or Dr. Strange. |

Crap. Pure crap. Tom Hardy seems to think he's in a different movie and the rest of the cast aren't much better. I don't know why, in an age of critically acclaimed comic book movies like Infinity War, Black Panther and even the first two Nolan Batman movies, that someone thought it was a good idea to make a comic book movie with all the ambition of Ghost Rider, Daredevil or The Fantastic 4 movies. Venom fits right in with those. |

Skipping it! Trailer’s confusing as hell and the reviews...well I do love bad movies for their funny reviews Although Venom cgi work looks great but it would’ve been more impressing if there hadn’t already been a pretty decent looking Venom - I was one of the very few ppl who didn’t hate Raimi’s Spiderman 3. Really liked it actually. |

I enjoyed it. It was a fun superhero / villain movie with a good story and good creative choices. If you don't go in with your Marvel checklist of required scenes you might just enjoy it for what it is! Way better than the horrible Deadpool movie 😎✌❤ |

You know it's a goofy movie when Venom starts giving host Eddie Brock relationship advice. |
