i was reading the post regarding nationalities, and i see a lot of native/ indeginous peoples here. how many of u powwow and if so which dances do u do?? im just curious, i used to powwow myself, im traditional and jingle dancer.

I don't talk much about my race any more cause they started kicking me like a dog after I did. I do a mean rain dance myself. My Great Uncle did those commericals. You know the keep America clean ones. Where he crys at the end. When I saw him I wanted to be on tv. He is dead now but I considered him a star. I loved to attend pow wows but I didn't like wearing dresses. I used to drag Prince with me.I was ashamed when I would visit MPLS. And see people selling beads.

i agree the dresses sucked. mine was all velvet with something like 300 rolled metal cones...it was heavy as hell and hot as hell too...but i loved dancing i still love it...i hope my little ones will want to do it..so far no, my son hates it, and my daughter hasnt really been exposed yet...she will though..she will.
