I just want to take this opportunity to say that I have not been on the org for a very long tie, but I have seen a LOT of moderator bashing. These men and woen spend countless hours of their personal lives not getting paid to make this site better for all of us, and all too often the only respone they recieve is people complaining, whining, arguing, and attacking them. This is a thread to say a simple
THANK YOU
even if I end up being the only one to say it, but I sincerely doubt this will be the case.

you are all doing a tremendous job, and I for one, completely respect what you are doing to make my life a happier place.

hehheh...i completely agree with you..it seems to be a thankless job and it appears they can do no right by some people...when the truth is there are some not very nice people on this site...(i know, this may come as a shock to some of you...hehheh...)

But thank you all for the positive vibes. I know that my colleagues Ben, LaVisHh and Matt always appreciate a kind word now and then too, since most of the time we have to deal with the sticky situations - the problems, the flames, the arguments etc. Making unpopular decisions, pissing people off etc. That kind of thing

Ultimately though, we only do all of this stuff because we feel a sense of responsibility to try and make this site more pleasant and welcoming for ourselves, our members and newbies alike. The Org experience is what you make of it ultimately, and it is all about the people who post here every day...



PS I think my new friend cborgman has earned a special Org gold star for all that brown-nosing

I think they do a great job.They're pretty lenient which is condusive to good conversation.It really would suck if they censored each and every thread that had the potential to go off the rails.The org dares to go were other boards do not for that reason.

It really is a tough job, but everyone needs to look at moderation as just that... never, ever take it personal... it's all about discussing just about anything, on even ground, remembering there are real people behind the org names, and doing it in the right forum!
