Can´t wait for TWD to come back again but I´ve also been enjoying FTWD a lot lately. It´s a bit slow these days and the locations are not as interesting as in the first seasons but the storyline is getting more and more interesting, especially now that Morgan is on board and wants to go back to Alexandria. I wish I could share your enthusiasm, but FTWD has been boring me to tears They seem to be in some boring, nowhere land and I'm getting kinda tired of that lady who wants to interview everybody, lol. This show was so good last year in its third season but I don't know what happened.

Yes, I understand what you mean, hence why I called it a bit slow....and, like you, I don´t really like that muddy, gray, cold looking area they are in. The first seasons had a much more interesting scenery, really beautiful landscapes and were a welcome relief from the green, brown, swampy areas in the original TWD. But now both shows have sucky locations. And yes, that reporter or whatever she claims to be is boring me, too. I guess I´m just grateful that there is some sort of a Walking Dead show at all. And I am easy to please once I am hooked to a TV show. I miss the mystery of FTWD´s first seasons....with a mysterious, rich and cunning Victor Strand, and Nick...etc. They shouldn´t have done that to Nick. They shouldn´t just get rid of important characters like they always do on TWD. I thought this show would be a bit different in that regard. But I still have high hopes for FTWD. We just have to get through with this rather dull phase I guess. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! I don't know. I couldn't get thru the third season. It was just kind of all over the place so I lost interest in the middle of the season. For me, the fourth season has been the best so far. Much more focused and with the introduction of some new characters that I actually care about. That's been a big problem with FTWD for me. I never cared about or felt any connection to any of the characters until Season 4. Up until recently, I was just kind of hoping the zombies would eat all of them. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! it'll be interesting to see what happens on TWD this season. With Rick leaving, they will need to come up with some truly amazing storylines to keep people watching.I heard that the Whisperers storyline will finally happen.

The new style of FTWD sucks. They got rid of everything I liked about it in the first place. The change of geography, the interesting locations such as Downtown L.A, California, the Pacific Ocean, the beautiful Mexican landscapes, or that big and impressive dam, the bright colors...none of that is in FTWD anymore and it looks like a cheaper imitation of TWD. And the most interesting characters are either gone for good or at least for while.
There´s only Strand and Alicia left.

I finally watched the full seaon 8, and it was better than I thought.
It's sad seeing the Georgia crew not like they were.
Eugene is something. Always had a danger to him.

Yeah I am totally confused about they’re trying to do with this show.A lot of things don’t make no sense to me.

I still can´t believe that Abraham and Glenn are gone. I mean Glenn´s demise was to be expected because it´s in the graphic novels but still.....it´s a TV show and viewers NEED at least a few heroes they can hold on to. If Rick goes, then the show will have a whole different vibe. They shouldn´t have killed Carl either. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! To me it seems that they wanted to get rid of the original idea of the show, which was to show the time during and right after the apocalypse. Instead, we get a time jump to the timeline of the original TWD and Morgan joining FTWD. Don´t get me wrong , I like Morgan, but I really loved FTWD the way it was....different time, different locations, different story about a family and their attempt to survive but I guess they did not want to maintain that storyline. I heard that the two new showrunners are responsible for this. Looks like they want to mix FTWD and TWD for some reason. I will still follow FTWD but it is no longer what it used to be. Just when it started to get more interesting they kind of killed the show. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! even though Carl has passed and Rick is leaving it looks like the show will continue.... forever.

I don't think they understood the impact it would have. His death started the kill off.

Entertainment ‘The Walking Dead’ Review: Season 9 Is a Huge Step Up For the ShowFolks, it finally happened: “The Walking Dead” is watchable again. With the Negan storyline in the rearview mirror, and a promising new status quo in place, the first three episodes of Season 9 are as strong as anything the show’s done since the heyday of Season 4. The last few years have not been kind to “The Walking Dead,” as the war between Rick Grimes’s rebels and Negan’s Saviors dragged out over two entire seasons, hemorrhaging viewers as it went. The two armies clashed over and over again, but save for the bloody Season 7 premiere, the conflict had no sense of forward momentum until it finally petered out earlier this year. The new season is a fresh start for several reasons. Angela Kang has taken over as showrunner, after Scott Gimple’s promotion to head of the wildly ambitious “Walking Dead” extended universe. Longtime cast member Lauren Cohan’s contract ended after Season 8, leaving her free to sign on as the star of ABC’s “Whiskey Cavalier,” and only appear in a handful of Season 9 episodes. Most important of all, Andrew Lincoln revealed he would leave the show this season, meaning that the saga of Rick Grimes will be coming to a close.
The loss of both Rick and Maggie is quite a seismic shift for the show, especially considering that Season 8 ended with the tease of Maggie starting her own conflict with Rick, who had spared Negan at the dying request of his son, Carl. If you were concerned that the actors’ departures would abort that storyline, don’t be, because the three episodes of Season 9 provided for review act as if none of the principals were imminently departing. The season picks up several months after the conclusion of “Wrath,” with all the various communities working together to build a new society. Rick and Michonne remain in charge of a rebuilt Alexandria, while Maggie has been duly elected as the leader of Hilltop. Daryl has been keeping an eye on things at Sanctuary, but he’s starting to long for the freedom of being a lone wolf again. I’ve always argued that “The Walking Dead” could mine plenty of drama from trying to rebuild something resembling society, and the opening of Season 9 proves that’s true. The communities are all ostensibly working together, but there’s plenty of tension. Many people don’t trust the surviving Saviors, and the Saviors are resentful of being treated like an occupied nation (they’re not allowed guns). On top of the shiny new direction, several little details of the show have improved, as well. The premiere (fittingly titled “A New Beginning”) features a lengthy set piece in a new, unique location, and there are even some attempts at genuine, old-school zombie scares. Even better, these new episodes make an effort to give most of the sprawling cast something to do. There are new professions, new responsibilities, and new romances. And while the cast is too big for each character to get a moment, even over three episodes, we at least get a chance to check in with everyone. This keeps the episodes moving at a good pace, with little evidence of the go-nowhere wheel-spinning past seasons have repeatedly indulged in. Now this is still “The Walking Dead,” so things can certainly go south at any time. I doubt the show can resist the siren song of “yet another evil human faction” for long, and who knows what the show will look like once Rick and Maggie are gone. But for the first time in a long time, there’s hope. Grade: A-“The Walking Dead” returns Sunday, October 7 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.

https://ew.com/tv/2018/10...-last-day/ Here's what happened on Andrew Lincoln's last day of The Walking DeadEW had exclusive on-set access for Andrew Lincoln’s last day on The Walking Dead. Here’s what we saw and what he said about leaving the show. Andrew Lincoln has to keep moving. It’s June 26 and the star of one of the biggest series in cable-TV history is on the Senoia, Georgia, set of The Walking Dead for his very last day of filming as Rick Grimes. As cameras line up for a scene in which Rick will walk through a pile of bodies — many nameless to Walking Dead fans; some, not so nameless — the man who has been No. 1 on the call sheet for nine seasons paces in the corner of the room. Then he squats. Then he sits. Then he lies down. Then he’s up again. It’s a routine to which his castmates have become well accustomed: stand, pace, squat, sit, lie down, roll over, rinse, repeat....[continued at link]
